Pretty poor quality asset store flip game.
Maybe if it was $5.00 or less I would forgive some of the problems but I got it on sale for $20.00 and its just not worth that in the slightest.
The mechanics are boring and pointless, the graphics are poorly cobbled together and ugly, the game controls terribly, and many different features feel like they were purchased from an asset store and not modified in the slightest.
I Requested a refund just barely past an hour of playing.
Your money is much better spent elsewhere.

A high quality entry into the VR shooter space. I hope to see more from this game in the future, I prefer this game to PAVLOV already after a short amount of play time.

Short and creepy game where you pilot a submarine in a blood ocean. Pretty fun idea and it just about starts to lose your interest before it ends. I would check it out if it's on a deal.

Strong entry in the immersive sim genre, the gameplay is tight and well made, movement and combat feels crisp and quick. When your stealth stops working out, you gotta act fast or you'll be dead very quickly.
The level design is immense, at first I was disappointed at the length of content but when you spend time exploring every cranny there is a great amount of depth and reality to the layout of the buildings that adds tremendously to the immersion. The level design is also very well complimented by the use of save points, which I believe is a huge addition to the genre and makes sneaking around avoiding enemies tense and rewarding. At first I was getting frustrated with it, but when I unlocked my first shortcut back to the first phonograph it started to click immediately. I don't think I can enjoy quicksave-heavy games like Deus Ex the same way now I have played this game.
I also want to mention that the sound design is extremely creepy and well made, and the early 2000's art direction really adds to the "game lost to time" vibe I feel from playing it, like this game is the greatest video game from 2001 that never got released until now.
The only downside on this game right now is that it is very short (about 4-5 hours if you're really dragging your feet). This is obviously an early access game but there was a clear focus on delivering a game with an excellent base to work with and expand on, so a lack of levels is very forgivable considering how well all of the systems work so far.
As it is right now, I could easily see this on par with the best in this subgenre along with System Shock 2 and Deus Ex once the content is there.
Highly recommend.

Probably the most amazing pieces of free software I have ever used.

Definitely try it out, watch some YouTube tutorials, and see what kind of creative things you can make with blender.

And it keeps being updated REGULARLY.

I would even suggest supporting the blender foundation this program is so good.

I wish I could give this game a “mixed” review instead of not recommended, because what is here IS very fun, and i think this could become a fantastic VR game in the future.

As the game stands now, it has a plethora of weapons that feel good (apart from the sound effects, which are a little weak right now) and the physics system that affects the enemies is lots of fun to play around with also, the issues are with the lack of content and map variety.

I played for just under 2 hours, with no intention of reaching that point to decide to refund the game, and just realized that I had seen what the game had to offer by that point.

For $20, I just wasn’t satisfied with the amount of stuff to do in the game as it stands currently.

I will be watching this game closely, and if it can give me a story to follow, some cooler maps and locations to mess around in, maybe some challenge modes, workshop support etc. I think this could be a must have game for VR, and I would happily pay more than $20 for that experience.

It’s just not there yet, and it’s just a bit too dear for me to hold onto right now.

Full respect for what the developers have made so far, I look forward to coming back to this game in the future once it’s had some time in the oven.

Incredible visual storytelling combined with some engaging albeit simple combat, and the best audio of any game I have played in recent memory. Hellblade stands with the best AAA story driven games as an engaging experience about mental illness, regret, fear, and grief. Should be played by everyone.
