Onestamente, il mio primo e più preferito gioco di strategia in tempo reale. Mods a parte (non riesco nemmeno a farli funzionare perché sono così schifoso con i computer) questo gioco ti offre la possibilità di ricostruire, riconquistare o corrompere l'intera galassia di Star Wars come meglio credi. Ha più del potenziale; ha guidato fondamentalmente il gameplay che premia la strategia attuale e promuove l'uso di tutto ciò che serve per il successo.

Dovrai governare un'intera galassia: conducila in maniera illuminata oppure corrotta nella raccolta di strategici definitiva ispirata all'universo di Star Wars. E' un periodo di guerre civili intergalattiche. Prenderai le redini dell'Alleanza Ribelle, assumerai il controllo dell'Impero o governerai l'Underworld di Star Wars?
Star Wars Empire at War:
Sei il comandante intergalattico supremo, e in quanto tale, tutto nella galassia dipenderà da te, dalla vita dei soldati fino alla morte dei pianeti. E' un periodo di guerre civili intergalattiche. Prendi in mano le redini dell'Alleanza Ribelle, oppure assumi il controllo dell'Impero. Qualunque sia la tua scelta, dipenderà esclusivamente da TE condurre il tuo schieramento alla vittoria finale. Avrai il comando di qualunque cosa, dalle singole truppe fino alle navette spaziali, e perfino la mitica Morte Nera seguirà i tuoi ordini, mentre eseguirai campagne sulla terra, nello stazio e attraverso la galassia. Dimenticati il noioso approvvigionamento delle risorse: salta direttamente nel cuore dell'azione. Potrai perfino cambiare la storia di Star Wars! Ogni decisione che prenderai, influenzerà la tua prossima battaglia e ciascuno scontro contribuirà a delineare il destino della galassia.

Conquista o libera le oltre 80 location, tra territori e ambienti spaziali, compresi Kashyyyk, Tatooine e Dagobah - ciascuna area dotata di uno specifico vantaggio strategico.
Avrai ai tuoi ordini i personaggi-icona di Star Wars, come Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader e Boba Fett.
Scatena gli X-wing contro i TIE fighter oppure conduci nello spazio un'intera flotta di Caccia Stellari. Poi fa' atterrare le forze di terra per proteggere il pianeta sottostante.

Honestly, my first and most preferred real-time strategy game. Mods apart (I can not even get them running because I'm so nasty with computers) this game gives you the ability to rebuild, recapture or bribe the whole Star Wars galaxy as you'd like. It has more than potential; has fundamentally led the gameplay that rewards the current strategy and promotes the use of all that is needed for success.
