A surprisingly well crafted gem of a game, lot and lots of beautiful details to easily get lost in, would 100% recommend as a solo game or with friends. The music score is haunting and masterfully done for a survival base building PvP/PvE/RPG. The player models are simple, but animated...ethereally, like a vampire should be! The building aspect is snappy and clean, super addicting. Game progression doesn't feel sluggish at all, I felt super challenged in some steps, and righteously rewarded when I overcame them. I find myself excited for the next hurdle and what it unlocks for my base (which feels as much a character in the game, leveling up and growing as my own vampire player does). Because the world is always cycling and enemy AI is always on the move, there are plenty of fresh moments that keep me engaged when I usually get tired of the repetition in these types of games.
I wish the DLC wasn't so expensive, but the base game models are so gorgeous with plenty of customized options I don't feel the lack of it annoying- more as something to splurge on later.
I can't speak on the PvP or servers- I only play by myself or co-op with my partner. Hopefully the devs keep packing in updates and new features, i'd love to see this game grow. It definitely sets the bar high for its genre!

Early Access Review
Supremely addicting sandbox fantasy base builder. Its LEGOs with villager AI you can very simply program. Scratches the minecraft itch in a clean package. Whats currently released is stable and I haven't had any glitches or complaints, can't wait for the new content to trickle in- theres a solid foundation with room for tons of growth.

For reference, I don't like terraria or this pixel style very much at all, but for some reason this game overcame that and hooked me. I think its the fact that you can micro-manage all your minion AI, as well as your town, and build a bustling beehive of ~insert creativity here~ with RPG style progression at your own pace. Random world events (raids) and discoveries are a huge boost in fun and excitement, making the world seem alive and meaningful.
I hope they crank the complexity up to 11, the more variables and choices they add the more people like me are going to get sucked in. For $15 this is a hell of a steal.

When I went to school to become a video-game animator, this is the kind of game I dreamed of making.
