I originally bought this game on a whim without giving much thought to it, I just needed another game. Then one day afterwards I was bored so I took the time and actually downloaded it. I was expecting some cheap, poorly designed game which was graphically cancer, but what I got was so much more. This game really was fun to play, sometimes after repeatedly dying it got annoying, but my perserverance to finish this game honestly made it all the more better. If you're bored and want a great game to play, definitely spend the time and money to purchase this game and see it to the end.

As of this moment in time, I have over 900 hours of my life dedicated to this game.

Now, let me start from the beginning:

As with most sandbox style games (re: minecraft) certain gamemodes develop within them. That's the main captivator for this game, the endless gamemodes that suck you into them for hours on end. It's not just a game you play when you're bored, it's a game you play everyday. Play it with friends, play it alone, play it with the annoying squeakers. Dominate nonetheless. Each gamemode within GarrysMod has it's own community. The big-named communities have their own websites dedicated to their servers. Moderation teams set up in shifts to dissuade troublemakers, the biggest of them all even have payrolls. The gamemode that captivated me was Jailbreak. It's pretty simple, you break out of jail if you're a prisoner. You keep the prisoners in if you're a guard. Pretty straightforward. They're countless other interpretations throughout other games - Team Fortress 2 has it's own version, I'm sure other games have their own as well. Even within GarrysMod Jailbreak each server has it's own settings, it's own maps, it's own sense of community. The sense of community is what really gets you, it hooks you in like you're a lone fish just looking to get reeled in. If you only had enough money to get one game today, make it this game. Invest your money in a large array of games inside one game. Would you rather buy one singular game or an arcade? This is a straightforward question! Go buy this game now! Whether you're new to PC gaming or have been playing Solitaire on your Windows XP computer for awhile, this is a must have.

Early Access Review
This game has captivated my interests for many hours on end, so it goes without saying it's quite the time-waster. It's a highly enjoyable tank game and it's quite easy to gain XP and levels fast. More levels grant you better weapons, better weapons grant you even mightier ways to conquor your enemies. However, as you dwell deeper into this game you begin to notice more and more faults plaguing such a sleek game. Some of the singleplayer missions are so difficult it's almost completely up to luck and repetition to pass (Fiesta Forever, I'm talking to you!). On occasion the game glitches out and you lose your progress in a mission/game that you were currently partaking in, seemingly with no explanation at all. This problem is actually what prompted me to write this review, I was almost done defeating the final singleplayer mission when I was whisked away back to the homescreen to join the charade of protests from the other players. As with the majority of unmoderated games certain trolls lie in the shadows waiting to ruin your game (and your day, if you let them).

Even excluding the listed problems, sometimes this game just gets too annoying to handle. If you perservere through all the pain and agony though, you'll eventualy unlock amazing weapons like the bouncy ball. Which bounces around an excruciatingly painful amount of times before finally bouncing out of the screen or if you're extremely lucky (and I'm talking about a one in a billion chance, here) dealing a minuscule amount of damage. This game may have it's share of brain-bashing, I'm-about-to-jump-off-a-cliff moments, but it also has it's enjoyable ones. After dedicating countless hours to this game, even getting kicked out of my final boss battle (as previously stated) I'm still going to go back and finish it. I have that undescribable need to finish what I've started, even if It'll be my eventual downfall. So if you are also willing to invest in this game, be prepared to get mad. Be prepared to get angry. Overall though, be prepared to never hit anyone with that damn bouncy ball.

You know it's a good game when you play it for hours on end without getting bored!

This, however, is not one of those games.

CS:GO Review
This is quite the amazing game.

The community is ♥♥♥♥.

It takes hours upon hours to get ranked.

10/10 would do it again.
