Very fun and extremely polished. I like that you don't have to complete dozens of runs to be able to beat the game, because the combat relies mostly on skill and making sure you upgrade the right skill tree depending on what weapons you run with. As for platforming action games, comparing this to Hollow Knight in terms of the quality of the combat is reasonable. The only personal problem that I can think of is that the music is not my favorite. I appreciate how much effort went into the soundtrack, just not my cup of tea. Still, a great game that I'll probably put a lot of time into.

A wonderful work of art of a video game, that learned all the best lessons that id software could teach. Also, a character action game that evokes truly unique and diverse feelings. Secrets that are hard to find, but intensely rewarding, and occasionally contain love letters to other creative souls. Immersive and creative plotline that merges so many different inspirations, while being an ode to Dante's Inferno at the core. The soundtrack perfectly fits every moment that it is featured in the game.

One of the best FPS games of all time, and one of the best character action games of all time, at the same time. I am continually in awe of what Ultrakill has accomplished, and eager to see what happens next. This game warms my heart, touches my soul, and tickles my brain.

Yet another example of how much of a golden era of roguelikes we're all currently in.

TL;DR:
Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Chasm: The Rift, Turok, and Quake 2 had a four-way love child.

This is a game so dripping with atmosphere, that it can throw a beach ball at you while you're fighting in a sci-fi techbase full of freaks from another planet, and the absurdity of it all somehow fits like a glove.

This is a game that does so many cool things with the mechanics that no other FPS games have the gall or will to do, yet the game feels like it could have released in the early 2000s without a shadow of a doubt.

This is a game that's five dollars, that I would've paid fifty dollars for. Masterpiece.

5v5 Search and Destroy on this game, right at this moment, reminds me of Action Quake 2 more than any game has in years. Of course, you can't move quite as fast in terms of your top speed, but the way you can rotate around the map in the "Master's League," mode is just beautiful, I genuinely really like this game and I hope they continue to update it.

The best campaign. The best multiplayer. The best movement, the best weapon balancing. Promod is still better than every single Counter-Strike.

This is an immortal FPS game.

Wonderful but very difficult game past Jedi difficulty. Great movement tech, I liked being able to bunny hop without having to hold down W for a change. I've been playing Quake 3 for too long. First person lightsaber fighting is amazing and I want more games with it. Being able to throw a lightsaber through several guys and retrieve it makes you feel like a god. That perspective makes me feel more like a Jedi than any other Star Wars game. So gratifying, and the music is pulled right from the movies. To me, this is Episode 6.5. I liked Rogue One, but it was so disappointing that Kyle Katarn wasn't the main character, and that they killed off his replacements in the new canon. I hate Disney sometimes.
