That mute guy just committed a war crime. Get this man a jet!

Gameplay
If you came here looking for an aviation simulator, this is quite the opposite. It's arcadey, and it's fun. It plays pretty much like Top Gun, 'no need for physics' and all fast, action-packed gameplay.

Story
The story is like Metal Gear but with jets, which actually works great. The characters are great, making you feel like a badass even if you're drunkenly playing. Some of the missions can actually give you a bit of a challenge, so you wont get off easy.

Final Thoughts
Get it on sale for a low price, and play through the singleplayer story! It'll give you a good bit of fun.

SFM is a good beginner program, relatively easy to learn. With the right knowledge - in which I recommend joining communities - you can make phenomenal works. Of course, it has its limits due to age.

It has memory limit (32-bit) & has particularly annoying crashes, but are avoidable with programs like memreduct & the memory patch (which can be found in the SFM Discord server). It doesn't have graphical fidelity & capability like Blender, but with material editing & good lighting can look far better. Especially having a program like After Effects, Premiere pro & Photoshop with some plugins can aid your work even further.

For what it's worth, I'd say it is a good program, albeit with its flaws.

When I first picked up this game, I didn't have much other game experience at the time. This used to be my Dark Souls, but upon revisiting a few times... yea, maybe a little less so. But, this game still offers quite the challenge!

Bosses
All in all, this game is actually quite balanced. The mainline bosses aren't overwhelmingly difficult so casual players can still beat the game, but for the players who want the extra challenge, they get the option of things such as warrior dreams, Godhome, and so on. The option to take on more challenging fights is a great feature, opening to a wider playerbase.

Combat
The combat system is also greatly fun, and a bit simpler so you aren't forced to learn a 10-button press combo in under a minute. You got the basics: your nail and spells. Combined with movement, charms & extra abilities, you got a diverse combat system all whilst being quite graspable for even casual/newer players. With charms, you can make whatever build you'd like- nail, spell, summon, or a hybrid of your favorites. Shoot for whatever feel aids you most in your journey.

Environments, Story and Style
The environments in this game are also beautiful, all hand-drawn and ranging from dark, cold areas to lush & vibrant ones. There's a lot to explore in this game, so you won't run empty whilst traversing its world. The story of this game also runs deep- I've never personally learnt much of the lore, but from simply playing the game you can take away how deep its backstory runs. I'd definitely recommend watching some videos on it if you take interest in it. The artstyle is unique & memorable as well, with great characters and enemy designs. Hell, even the dialogue is quite good.

Cons (Subjectively, not many)
Keep in mind, this is a metroidvania. There is parkour- which general traversing isn't difficult, there are optional parkour areas that can be quite difficult. If you just want to beat the mainline game, you can skip over those parts. Adding onto the point it's a metroidvania, you will have to backtrack after unlocking abilities to explore previously blocked off areas. Thankfully, you can mark or screenshot those areas on the map to return later.

Side note, you also see everything on a 2D plane which can be far less overwhelming in comparison to heavy visual noise in 3D games, but you still need to target prioritize to not get bombarded by enemies in this game.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this game has greatly stood the tests of time & has become a beloved game for most, as well as becoming one of my own personal favorites. I'd highly recommend picking up this game, sale or not as it has a pretty low price point considering the expensive gaming atmosphere. You DEFINITELY get your moneys worth for a game you can lose hours in. Team Cherry has put much love & dedication into the HK games.
