Only stumbled on the SNEK, very fun, much parody, such philosophy, great ending, wow! S-E out of 10.

Played the browser version before, bought it on Steam to pass a couple hours. Spent over 30 hours in two sittings pondering the orb, my poor weekend disappeared in a puff on magic. Beware.

The base premise is found on idealist philosophy, rather than physicalist, and the "depth" of the construct is just how elaborate the fiction is. No matter what ending of the game you select, the choice would be forced/false anyway, so do yourself a big favor, apply the "it's just a show" mantra and explore all endings - there are some very funny ones hidden in the maze! Great voice acting, vibrant staging, fun dialogue.

Started the game for the first time, had just a bit of struggle figuring things out, then played for 11 hours straight, forgetting sleep. Very chill librarian simulator. Don't waste "Lessons" in the beginning, you don't need more than one per skill level.
Update: The game is so rich with details and recipes and stuff to find and to do, you will just not run out of things to discover for a long while! Love the atmospheric sound, too. Nothing like a storm outside.

The game may not look like much at first glance, but it is secretly legendary.

Once you get past the initial barrier of learning how to play and start producing stuff and unlocking high tier tech, things get cool. Use the little shopping cart button on each building to order resources for those buildings/furniture, don't miss it and make a spreadsheet material cost calculator like I did.

Heartwarming, full of surprises, good music, trained game skills transfer to real music, good story, very cute sometimes.

Outer Wilds is like The Neverhood and Cultist Simulator mixed together with a touch of Steins;Gate - colorful worlds with beautiful scenery filled with puzzles, many mysteries to explore, knowledge pieces to combine and a touching sci-fi story to tie everything together.
