As a trans guy, I've been loving this game. I'm honestly mortified by the way some people in the LGBT community are attacking others about playing this game, and it makes me embarrassed and ashamed to be lumped in with them.

Let people play what they want to play. To the people saying that the game is actively causing harm to trans people... relax. I don't need people to protest on my behalf, especially in such a toxic way. This game is literally just pennies to JK Rowling. There are Harry Potter theme parks, for Christ's sake! If the woman never got another dime again, she'd still be set for life. Where is this energy when it comes to the countless big brands with unethical practices? Coke is the leading polluter of the environment, Nike has been charged with employing underage labor, Amazon workers hardly even get bathroom breaks... the list goes on. And yet they all stay in business because there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. So, sending death threats to people who just want to play this game is absurd.

Controversy aside, I've been loving the game. Sure, I don't agree with JK Rowling's beliefs, but Harry Potter was my childhood. I grew up reading all the books and watching all the movies, constantly imagining what it would be like to go to Hogwarts. This game is my childhood dream come true. It's honestly way better than I had hoped, and I'm already looking forward to future DLC or maybe even a sequel. It's a shame that JK Rowling ended up being an intolerable wench, but you can't deny that the Harry Potter world is majestic, and the game does a great job of showing it.

Got time to kill? Play this game. Want to ostracize everyone in your life? Play this game. Want to stare at a screen for 16 hours straight? Play this game.

This is genuinely one of my favorite games. I never expected to like Beat Saber as much as I do, but now it's a routine for my roommate and me to play a few rounds before bed.

The base game itself is great, but what really makes it stand out are the mods. If you're playing this game without mods, you're missing out. I only just installed them a few months ago, but now it feels like there's no other way to play. The Beat Saber modding group does a great job of keeping the mods updated when the game updates and helping people in their Discord server.

Another huge reason why Beat Saber is such a great game to me is the fact that I can make my own maps. I've only published two so far using Mediocre Map Assistant, but being able to play your own maps and create maps for songs you really like just adds so much more to the experience. Plus, if you have mods installed, you can play around with the colors and backgrounds, as well. But even if you don't have mods or create your own maps, Beat Saber is still an awesome game that I would recommend to anybody with VR, regardless of your gaming experience.

For a $4 game, I genuinely have no complaints. It has Phasmophobia vibes, and even though it's a simple game, it's fun to play with friends or even just randos. I've only played a few games so far, but the gameplay is smooth and the only real bug I noticed was that the lunch lady got stuck in some places and didn't attack my friend during one game, even when he was literally sitting inside her character model. (she do be kinda thicc tho)

I saw someone mention adding a mode where someone could play as the lunch lady and I think that could be pretty fun. There's a lot to build on with this game, and it seems like the developer is updating consistently, so I'm curious to see what else will be added.

This is a game I didn't know I needed in my life. The concept seems boring and weird: you're a janitor cleaning up viscera after all the action has happened. But after watching a YouTube playthrough of one of the maps...I was interested. Something about mundane activities plus viscera made this game so compelling. It's especially fun to clean up with your friends, and it's a good game to relax to since it doesn't require much focus. The maps are interesting and unique, and the DLC adds more to that. It's a simple game, but simple doesn't mean bad. And the sense of accomplishment after you've finished cleaning a huge map...priceless.
