10/10 would never play again

This was gifted to me, and as a prank I played it. Everything is pretty bad tbh, but the shotgun is kinda satisfying, also double jump is cool. You could do a whole lot worse for $1, but also you could get a taco instead

I don't usually write reviews on here, but I felt this one was kinda personal and wanted to. I've been playing the Beat Hazard games on and off since it launched back in 2009, I used to play it on the old Xbox live arcade indie games section. It was such a unique and fun experience to get to blast ships and dodge projectiles to the groove of your own music, and I loved coming home after school, playing it to unwind.

Now i'm siting here 13 years later playing Beat Hazard 3, having just as much fun as I did when I first discovered the original. I absolutely recommend the trilogy to any fans of shmups/bullet hells, and music itself. Can't wait to see the progress of this game throughout early access!
