Hey, I've got an answer to your question about viewing your custom CS:GO skin in-game. You said the displacement/rotation were all off even though you set them right on the workbench. I had this problem too and I figured it out: on the workbench, the settings below the weapon preview only change what you see in the preview. The settings on the left are for the ranges within which the skin can vary. So you actually have to go back to the workbench and make a new .txt file; be sure to change the settings on the left so that the displacement/rotation can only be what you want them to (e.g. set minimum rotation and maximum rotation both to 0, etc.)
