Everything you liked in the first game, but bigger and better. Definitely a 'must buy' for everyone enjoying a good metroidvania game.

Kinda short, but tons of fun.

Utter garbage and a waste of money.
The closed beta period was promising, but for the last 5 months everything rolled downhill.
The core gameplay is broken, the netcode is broken, the constant disconnects and lags ruin the experience.
Every other patch brings nothing but yet another pack of paid cosmetics.
Looks like outsourcing the development to the lowest bidder was not a good idea.
Avoid this game like plague. For now.

January 2018 update.
They have added an additional character, a rehashed map. Tweaked the exisiting characters a bit.
Technical issues are not being addressed.
Still do not recommend.

Aaaand it's gone.

The new 'playlist' MM feature means that I haven't played a single DM game because it's only instagib that is being voted for.
The queue times are the same - waiting for 2-3 minutes (!) to get into the match while the playerbase is roughly 5k people, not ~600 CCU, like it has been before.

Ok, they listen to the complaints a little bit.
Wait for another patch or two then look at the player base.
If it's above 5k people/day - try the free version.
