It's ayt.

For context, I got this game and every DLC for less than 20$.

This game promised to scratch the itch Left 4 Dead gave. It did not do that. This game has everything and nothing at the same time, which makes it exhausting. It tries to be flashy and unique, but in return fails at originality. One word I would use to describe this game is "Convoluted". The cards, items, level systems, gun customization, enemies are all gamified in a certain matter, it's exhausting and unnecessary. The first boot experience is overwhelming, throwing stats at you whenever possible. The game does horribly at world building.

Just pick up Warhammer; Vermintide. That's the game they actually were trying to copy.

If you enjoy Pokemon and/or any type of TCGs, this game will grab you by the balls. Very much worth getting.

After 3-4 sessions, my girlfriend who has never touched a controller in her life was able to get comfortable of the controls. Learned to jump, crouch, run, interact and shoot.

With a little bit of patience and help, she was able to go through the Magic castle without any help, just us and the amazing game that is "It Takes Two".
It hasn't been easy but I'm glad she was able overcome the frustrating task that is getting out your comfort zone.

For whomever is thinking about starting this game even if they aren't totally into video games, it's worth a try and tell them that someone who's never touched a controller in their life can play this game.

Super intuitive, characters are very well developed and will leave you to tears as you are unconsciously bonding with whoever you are playing with.
