Its so buggy, At the start of the game a old lady gets harassed and you have to kill 2 people to save her, then she decides that you're a murderer. So she runs off every time she see's you, forcing you to either replay a hour or 2 of the game since the save system is stupid and it only saves at certain story moments or when you drink a potion.

A while later i have to save a girl from a guy holding a knife to her throat, i talk him out of killing her, she kills him and i decide to grab the sword before talking to her, but that makes her call me out as a thief, even though i just saved her...

This is especially frustrating since the game has a "Steal" prompt for other items, yet this one is a steal action, yet the game refuses to tell you it, and it bug's a whole quest right at the start of the game.

Like if you're gonna pursue realism then actually make it realistic, don't make npc's run off in these kind of situations. And if you cant save when you want you also eliminate a bunch of opportunities to save and prevent these issues.

I've had maps not load, the menus are clunky (like really a skippable intro that takes 10 seconds to skip?).
And the game play feels like a shooter from the early 2000's, And that's not because of its aspirations to be realistic, but just because its made like that. Solid don't recommend.

Void Crew is hands-down one of the best co-op experiences out there. Teamwork is essential. Every mission feels like a spacefaring adventure where communication and collaboration make or break your success. Whether you’re manning the turrets, repairing the ship mid-battle, or coordinating an epic heist in the void, you’ll need to rely on your crew at every turn.

The only thing that carries over between runs are unlocked cosmetics, which include suit colors, helmet icons and suit components which don't provide any bonuses and are purely cosmetics without a cosmetic store, which is a big plus. And level based perks for the 4 roles people can take on, such as gunner, pilot, engineer and scavenger.
If you love working together with friends and want a game that truly embraces cooperative play, Void Crew delivers in spades. A must-have for co-op enthusiasts! 🚀

The gunplay doesnt feel good, the controls feel clunky.
NPC's do that thing where you have to follow them, but they walk slower then your default walk speed.
The unique setting and gameplay cant make up for it feeling bad to play.

Clunky Singleplayer/coop tarkov. The menu's are exact copies.

Yet it has none of the depth, no healing individual body parts, no eating, no gun maintenance.
There aren't a lot of guns either, and since i found half of them in my first match i kind of feel like i saw them all already.
The AI is also terrible, They wont notice you until you shoot even if you're right in front. They can walk up behind you, and instead of shooting they yell out then give you 5 seconds to kill them.

Quick refund until they make some actual progress on the core concepts.

#Update 06/03/2024: Still clean of this grindy game.

I have 512 days, 4 hours of playing time, or 12,892 hours. I want to take you all down memory lane, in no particular order:

Remember when they said it was just the Squeel?

Remember when Solomans store just had cosmetics?

Remember when they stimulated being constantly subscribed with the Aura system?

Remeber when you always had enough bank spaces, Since skills had a small amount of items instead of Archealogy and Invention?

Remember Treasure hunter introduced actual ingame items, like Barrows and Godswords, as a Pay to win items?

Remember when they added skill boosting items, like the skilling outfits to the key store?

Remember when they started to try and max out play time by introducing more and more dailies?

Remember when the best mods started leaving?

Remember when started adding more xp items?

Remember when they started adding special chests on Treasure hunter?

Remember when they started letting you buy in game money with bonds?

Remember when 1 time special items started coming to Treasure hunter?

Remember when They started recycling those items back onto the same store, after first saying that they were 1 time only?

Remember the premier aura's and how overpowered they were, all to incentivise a mass 1 time payment for membership?

Remember when Pay to win items became tradable, to allow the same people buying keys to also buy incredible amount of GP?

Remember when the Spring cleaner was only pay to win?

Its sad to think that there's probably a lot of ones im forgetting, but the amount of times they pushed the line just further and further is honestly disgusting. I wouldn't let my kid play something that became so much like a casino.

I long for the early EOC days, when the game was great, the community vibrant, and when Jagex still had a heart instead of the corporate shell it became.

Jagex itself went through quite a evolution itself, the Gower brothers leaving, the people they left in charge slowly leaving which allowed more corporate interests to take over. In 2021 When Insight venture partners took over, it clearly started the end. More interested in making money they even ended up being sold to a Chinese investment firm, and now having gone through 3 more firms to wriggle more cash out of the consumer with a Massive company that had 4.4 Billion in revenue last year.

This product's owners dont care about it, so ask yourself, wouldn't you rather play something Engaging instead?

As for the player base nowadays, i mean you kinda let it happen. I remember when people rioted in falador when something didn't align with your values. Nowadays we get a week of angry Reddit posts and we move on. For shame.

I'm done with this game.
