This is the most game a game can be.
You kill massive hordes or giant bug-like aliens with infinite ammo, as if Michael Bay made this game after watching Starship Troopers.

I've played as a Ranger (as the game intends for a new player) for about 20 good missions, and then I thought why not try Fencer despite the game saying it's for players with more experience, and it's the most fun I've ever had for a game I got for £0.79 on Humble Bundle. I have yet to finish the game but I've had a lot of fun so far.

Dual-wield gatling guns with hammer & mortar as secondary, that's peak gameplay.
Nothing beats shredding down giant spiders down with bullets, explosives and a giant hammer in a mech suit.
This game can cure arachnophobia.

I love this game, but it leaves a lot to desire
There's a mix of feelings towards this game, but personally I really enjoy this game, especially for it's 90% discount price (~30p). I had a lot of fun and for mere pennies, you should definitely at least try this game.

The game didn't age so well in terms of graphics, but I personally enjoy the older graphics like the GTA trilogy, except GTA had better models, SRS has women look like if FF7 characters and background civilians are like PS1 models.
But forget graphics, this game is super fun and replayable for the immersive and fun driving experience, it looks really good for what it is, and I managed to run the highest graphics settings on my regular laptop.

So driving is fun, drifting is badass (bonus points for using the Trueno and listening to Initial D), but the cars...
The roster is not exactly the most diverse, but what it lacks in diversity it makes up for in customisation.
I spent more time customising my cars than I did playing the story missions.
The game does my favourite (Nissan GT-R) and the classic Toyota Trueno (not easy to control but drifts like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥), the other cars are alright, most are forgettable and only need to complete the collection.

Unfortunately in terms of progression, I had to use a guide to get past certain limits since I went into the game without any knowledge. I didn't mind doing the arcade missions to unlock the superior cars, but I spent too much time trying to beat the Iron Man challenge hard mode (Dark Souls of street racing).
It does make story missions easier (until the final mission with a ♥♥♥♥♥ of a level cap), but honestly it's more about the driver than the car itself (big debate on which car is the best).

Now the other features of the game, starting with the big bad, the music, which is basically SoundCloud garbage, and I had to mute it as soon as I started the game for the first time. I just use my own Spotify playlist to fill in for music, with Initial D songs for bonus drifting points.
Now the main appeal, the women, who are alright I suppose, but don't serve much purpose to the game other than general appeal and some sort of achievement for how much respect you earn in the game.

To wrap up, I love this game, for the price it's truly worth more than general AAA racing games, it may not have the graphics of Asphalt 8 or the soundtrack of Fast and Furious, but it's hours of fun, at least for me.
Definitely pick it up on a sale if you just wanna have even a few hours of fun behind the wheels.

The Man-Maker

I have learnt to become sexually aroused by ripping apart demons with my bare hands after unloading my shotgun shells into them.
I can confirm this is the pilgrimage required for manhood.

Imagine buying a game for it to be merged into another game you already bought.
Take my money Rockstar, ♥♥♥♥ it, I'm too lazy to choose between two games, just have the one game for all 3 episodes.

R.I.P. wallet, may you be revived before the next Steam Summer Sale
