"Eating yellow snow was the real friend we made along the way, Artyom."
- said Bourbon after Last lighting all across the place in the final cutscene.

Even though buggy at times, a great triquel.

This game has received a lot of praise already and I praise it as well so might just want to get to the point of it.

While this might be a relic of time with it's controls and interfaces, this game is all about exploration and has a feel that newer games of today really need. I have seen plenty of reviews complaining about the controls, but really it's something you get used to after at least a quarter of your playthrough.

I feel like System Shock 2 is vastly different from System Shock 1 as there's still exploration but not in the same sense. The atmosphere is different in those two games and the atmosphere of the first game might still feel like a 90s cyberpunk classic immersive sim with some EBM music in the background, the second game does more emphasis on the horror aspect of the game and does it very damn well. The second game has a creepier overall atmosphere and environments, while the first game has plenty of space to explore, a lot of enemies to kill and a lot of audio logs to listen to on your way of stopping SHODAN.

I consider the first game superior to the second game as it's more exploration based and fun. It has that little something that keeps me wanting to do a second playthrough. I haven't exactly beaten the second game but I already know the plot and the ending. I'm on "The Body Of The Many" part at the moment, but I already know what's coming. I have beaten the first game though and all I can say is that it's amazing.

I played on the enhanced edition of the game as I really needed at least some degree of comfort as i stepped into the game with mouselook, but I feel like doing a classic playthrough without mouselook some time in the future :)

Overall, it's blasting up to this day and never will stop coming.
