I played this yesterday and i will totally return to it. My buddies and i had a great time with the online play, however i cant vouch for finding a match when not playing with friends in a private serve.

we love the variety of characters, ults they can do. and the fun little mini games at the scoreboard between rounds. if you can get a group of friend to play i think you will have alot of fun playing beat me!

Just to disclose, I met the devs at PAX East and got a review copy of Haunted Halloween: 86'.

I play alot of retro games on my stream, and when i picked up my controller to play HH86 thats just what i got. It is an NES era game through and through. The level design, the character design, even the music harken back to the days where you would spend minutes blowing into a cartridge before getting the game to work.

Overall I really enjoyed the story and the skills that you unlock every level to make your journey even more exciting!
I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to scratch their retro gaming itch.

Slipstream is an amazing retro-style racing game in a 60fps package that does not disappoint.

Arcade mode puts you against 5 separate challengers in a time extended/checkpoint kind of race. i have yet to beat them all but i'm having a great time trying. And Grand Prix allows you to build the attributes of your car from the ground up, being awarded more cash the better you place.

What keeps me coming back for more is the music though. That Vapor/retro wave music is totally well composed and really fits the retro look of the game.

perhaps we can get a multiplayer up date in the future ;)

I played this game and i really enjoyed it. The jist is you are either the humans or the Aliens (Squids) abd you play on a sort of isometric overhead battle field. My favorite role/job in this game is being the guy who goes around harvesting resourses. You have to Harvest in order to level up yout weapons and vehicles; this consists of any scrap metal you can find around town, human civilians, or even the frozen corpses of your enemies.

I mostly harvested while the rest of the team fought but i got in my fair share of running and gunning. The combat is a bit tricky at first (moving with wasd while moving your mouse and clicking to shoot) but you get the hang of it really fast! all in all really enjoyed this game. the only gripe ive had is that there are sometimes more bots than people, but the AI is very smart, and the developer has been running LFGs to get more people in the game.
