This game is basically exactly what everyone wants when they ask for a remake.
It runs well. Its beautiful. and its true to the original. there are some balance changes from then to now, most of which come from the community over the years, either in forum suggestions or mods.

However, theyve gone and botched the most important part of the game.
That utterly beloved, endless rabbit hole that was the Encyclopedia from the original.
Its not accessible in game, and it no longer its heavily interconnected. No more can you go to a gods page and see all their units, powers, and techs. no more can you endlessly click on hyper links.

As an aside, and edit as I load into a game as freyr . if youre worried about The dlc god being too strong, I wouldnt worry overmuch. All the gods, and civs have received buffs. freyr while strong, I wont lie, Isnt over powered and is arguably very very weak early game.
the trade off being that hes a bit of a late game power house. all his main improvements are to infantry so again fairly easy to deal with.

For the Future, Id lover to see mod god packs with the following
For the greeks, Either Hestia or Demetre (preferably hestia)
For the egyptians Amun, Amon Hammun. however youd like to spell it. But as a monotheistic god who has several "Syncratic paths"
For the Atlanteans (technically not a titan) Typhon, Or Alcyoneus

I absolutely despise this game.
Its physics give me a hernia
Its hard as hell
And its absolutely phenomenal

Every restarted race, every crash, every perfect corner just makes me want to play more. its difficult enough that you feel good if youre doing average, but feel like a god if youre doing good

As with all things of the online personality test nature, I was extremely skeptical going in. But by the end of reading my results I felt a bit attacked in a way, some of the one liners were very accurate to how I view my self and what I believe I need to do in the future to improve my self
