Not to dock Word or anything but the darker background just makes it easier to write on.

This game is full of heart. If it doesn't leave with you some sort of warm, bittersweet fuzzy feelings inside, then this game might not be for you. The story is beautiful. The soundtrack is gorgeous. The puzzles are fantastic. It isn't a very long indie game that I still can't believe was made in RPGMaker but I can't recommend this game enough. Great story, relatable characters and easy to figure out.

The pros of this game -- touted as a spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger -- far outweigh the cons! First off, the story is well thought out and while it reminds me of Final Fantasy X (Setsuna is a lot like Yuna in wanting to see the good in everyone but not afraid to fight) in some ways, it's an enjoyable little game. It's not a very long game and the battles get repetitive after a while but it's still an enjoyable game. My biggest con with the game is that it does enjoy crashing every now and again.

Otherwise, if you liked Chrono Trigger and its sequel Chrono Cross, you might just find yourself enjoying this game.

Eh, it was free and I like rhythm games so I figured what did I have to lose? It's not the game for me. :(

If you're looking for a retro metroidvania style good that you play and beat in 75 minutes, this is the game for you. It's pretty fun and easy to pick up on but be warned. If you don't find the power ups for your weapon, you will be stuck in a neverending cycle of RAGE. Otherwise, quick little game to pass the time.

Supergiant Games may not make long video games like other Indie groups or even the big studios, but they have clearly adopted the mantra of quality not quantity when it comes to their games. Fans of BASTION will find themselves falling in love with Transistor. Your mission as Red is to save the city of Cloudbank from destruction with the help of a weapon called the Transistor. The gameplay doesn't pull any punches with its easy to learn, difficult to master style and can keep even a skilled strategist busy for quite some time.

As expected from Supergiant Games, the visuals, music and artwork are breathtaking and suit the mood and theme of the game perfectly. It will definitely be worth a second playthrough if you're still trying to figure out what's going on like I am.

Buy this game. You won't be disappointed with its Steampunk feel and general loveliness.
