Loved this game - I haven't played any of the other entries in the series but that didn't affect my enjoyment at all. If you like D&D, RPG's, fantasy, tactical gameplay, or good stories, then I cannot recommend this game enough!

Fun game, reminds me of the classic arcade-shooters that were common in the 360/PS3 era and improves upon it. I recommend at least watching a recap of the story of the first game, but otherwise you don't need to know much about Warhammer to have a good time. I wish the campaign had a matchmaking feature to swap the bot squad mates with randoms, but right now campaign co-op is invite only. Solid game all around and it has successfully gotten me much more interested in Warhammer 40k as a whole!

One of those games I was so hyped for when it was first announced. I'm glad I waited to play it until after all the patching and updates as the game is in a great state now. Gameplay and story are great - can't wait for the sequel.

Usually don't play these types of games but I'm glad I gave this one a chance. Great characters, story, world, and mechanics. Definitely slower paced, but very rewarding and kept me interested the whole time. Excited to see more from the developers.

Great game! Combat is fun, story is compelling, and quests are varied. The world created in Horizon is beautiful, I can't wait for Forbidden West to come to PC!

Haven't played for too long and for that, I'll keep it short.

When I started the game I went through pretty generic customization meaning I could only change the face, hair, and a few other things to only the characters head. Things that I could change only had a few options to change (in other words, customization is pretty bland and you WILL see other players who look exactly like you).

Oh well, the customization to your characters head shouldn't make or break the game, right?

Next, I loaded into the starters area where I went through a pretty dull intro to the game mechanics. This time it was a pack of wolves or felcats or something of that nature annoying the villagers (never seen that before). On a side note, this game DOES run smoothly on the worst of computers (I know first hand). So if you cant play other graphically-intensive games out there, then this is for you.

Oh well, it's the tutorial. Of course it's going to be boring just like in (most) other mmo's.

Now, I know it's not sounding too hot as of now, but after the tutorial I encountered the communtity of the game. I was very pleased with my discovery. Once I began moving out of the starting area, I was met by some experienced players. They helped me complete quests, find hidden areas, and explained game mechanics which were way overwhelming to a starter at first (as in EIGHT different classes of crafting each with thier own experience levels, yikes!). Once those eight crafting classes were explained, what could've been a down had now turned into a complete positive! Eight different ways to play created many different play-styles along with new things to do.

Now, I know I probably missed tons of things, so heres a quick list of Pros and Cons (not in order of importance).

Pros: Cons:
-Runs well on the worst of computers -Bland customization
-Friendly and helpful community -Boring tutorial
-Lots of variation to play styles -Crafting can be overwhelming at first
-Eight different forms of crafting -Combat is dull (click to attack along with 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc. for spells)
-Simple and easy to play -Storyline is a little underwhelming
-Appealing to new players
-Free
-NOT PAY TO WIN

Thanks, for reading! Keep in mind I'm still pretty new to the game so I might be updating the review as I progress. Also, I think this is my first review so sorry if the format was wierd. I definately recommend this game, plus it's free. If for whatever reason you dislike the game, you won't be wasting your money and it's as easy as pressing uninstall to move on.

Very fun game! Nice community and lots of gameplay variations with classes, weapons, maps, and game modes!
