Team Fortress 2 is probably one of the best experiences anyone can obtain through PC gaming. The cartoon and violent nature perfectly fits the setting and characters, it's an amazing combination that gamers can rarely see in any video game.

The movement and weapons makes playing each character satisfying. A majority of the classes have weapons that do a lot of damage in short bursts (semi-automatics, but of course there's plenty of exceptions). Nothing feels more satisfying than nailing a perfect meat shot on an enemy player. Each class has a playstyle that can fits a player's personality, there will always be a class a player will favor. But the weapon variety allows each class to alternate their playstyle, this gives the game a lot of replay value and it allows players to test out new strategies. The introduction of strange weapons also motivates players to get frags (or other things that may raise your strange level).

Tf2 is usually defined as the first hat simulation shooter. But it deserves that title with the stacks of customizations that are available. For veteran or dedicated players, particular cosmetics define who they are and it becomes their icon. Unusual hats and weapons (along with other rare items) have built a virtual economy, people have made bank from selling weapons. At this point, hats are practically irl stocks.

The personalities of each class feels incredibly diverse, their constant quips throughout the match makes them feel alive. I find myself using the binds just for each class to say particular quotes. From Engineer's calm tone to Demoman's scream during charging, you'll find a relatable and exaggerated personality that you will enjoy. The 'Meet The' video fuels each character's qualities, while the comics brings out their backstories and growth.

The community for this game is filled with infinite potential. With the amount of content this community provides, it's no wonder that some of their stuff manages to squeeze into major updates. Community made game modes like 'Freak Fortress', 'TF Ware', 10x crit servers' are considered legendary. But custom maps for MvM, trading, idle, etc. can build a community towards a particular server. I spent a majority of my childhood playing trade_clocktower and plenty of minecraft maps. There's a server for everyone. Being able to have custom mods, sounds, HUDs, allows every player to play to their own liking.

Now every game comes with their flaws. As of now, the game really needs to fix their issues with aimbots and hackers. Particular players can be incredibly toxic (especially in Mann Up mode for MvM, but that seems like an issue based on each individual player). The game truly needs developer support in order to continue to survive. It's already amazing that the game and community lasted this long, I hope Valve will eventually step in and make some updates. But it's easier said than done.

This game can be fun and entertaining. But dedicated fans can say that this game is an experience. I've made so many online friends with this game and my irl friends all agree that Tf2 is considered probably one of the best games of all time. This game is a blessing, I don't believe there will ever be a game like this ever again.
