Fun CRPG. Wish there was an option to make all text readable, the graphics are cool, the font is crap.

If you liked the first, you’ll pretty much like this.
I’d probably (haven’t done so myself) recommend playing it on the hardest difficulty, as the medium one makes the game far easier than the first.

Later chapters are a big buggy, and the game is currently a bit too easy because of crazy damage scaling (both things that I expected to be patched). But writing is as amazing as expected, and the gameplay generally is a ton of fun. Very much feels like WH40k.

Great writing, as expected. A lot more polished, but also easier than their last game Age of Decadence. Because it’s so easy to do almost everything, I’m not sure I’ll want to replay it in the near future, which is a bit sad.

The best CYOA book I’ve ever played. The writing is great, I love the world this is set in. The pictures are just enough to enhance the experience. There’s just enough stats and stat-interactions to make it feel like an RPG.

The first time I played, I died in the 2nd to last chapter, the second time I survived, but I ruined everything. This time, I’m sure it will end much better ;)

Obviously don’t buy this if you don’t like reading. Duh.

One Con: Animations (transitioning of pages and turning pages) are too slow and I would like to see them sped up, at least optionally.

Finally testing some combat builds. Gorgeous areas, nice mix of enemies. My only complaint is that the level up your next party effects don’t also make you skip the first few islands as the levels completely trivialize them.

A pretty short game with not much replayability. That said, the ~8 hours of content are fun, and if you really want to see all options you need to play the game twice.

To recommend the game, you have to enjoy reading because part of what makes the game good, is the text. If you skip it this becomes very short and somewhat boring.

They announced 3 more episodes of content for free, I’ll probably check it out again after they are all done.

After almost 800 hours in (pre-)alpha and beta, I can comfortably say I love this game. Pretty much everything from Kingmaker has been improved, replayability is through the roof, more things were added. The crusade HOMM-style mini game is super fun.

There are currently some smaller bugs still in, but I encountered nothing major.

53 hours played during the free weekend. I guess I liked it enough to buy it ;) Still not sure I know what I’m doing, but that’s crusader kings for you. As long as I can kill my inbred children, everything is fine.

A clicker/idle game with quite some depth and an acceptable story. If you like a casual basebuilder without fancy graphics, go for it :)
