The game itself isn’t bad, but there are many flaws. There’s no real story (as a fan of the series, I can’t approve of that move at all), and there are plenty of illogical things (for example, you can’t shoot the enemy — they could’ve at least made it so that shooting doesn’t kill but enrages them). The story is also very short (it was much longer in the second part), and the difficulty is too easy (there are no challenging levels). Most of the locations feel lazily designed — basically just “run so the monster doesn’t catch you.”

The design is good, the graphics are great, but the game feels soulless. It’s really sad to see such an iconic series fail to even include proper references to the previous parts. The only callbacks are the Six dolls and Mono’s chairs. The game is worth the money, but without a story, it’s just disappointing.

There are many demo versions at this festival this year... lots of cool ones! But I think I've decided on one of the leaders :)
