An absolute delight.

If you have a lot of free time, no you don't. Get to work.

Unless you like investing a few hours into a run/characters you like just to have them all die to some unbalanced progression, I wouldn't recommend it. The combat ramps up exponentially while player progression is very linear, it feels like you're always faced with impossible challenges far too early. I've tried different tactics, from just rushing it to spending more time on side quests but the rewards don't level the party up enough to make it worth it. There is a timeline of random terrible events that happen so if you spend too long leveling up, the game ♥♥♥♥♥ out some game ending boss.
If we kept something between runs to advance our abilities in the next run maybe I could understand why it gets so impossibly hard so quickly, but you don't. You just have to build a new party and set out on another doomed-from-the-start adventure.

No idea how big this game is, but there's no end in sight around 13 hours deep.
Most game for the money I've gotten in a long time. Absolutely worth it.

This game is very charming. Finished it in about one sitting (two sessions but one day) ~ 6.5 hours. So it's not the longest game I've ever played but great the whole way through. Completely worth it. Buy it.

Very underrated game. Worth every penny.

One of the best games I have ever played! So much to do and discover. It legitimately gave me a sense of wonder (and terror) that I rarely feel in games. The soundtrack is incredible and it is gorgeous overall. Highly, highly recommend.
