When I first started to play Binding of Isaac, I noticed immediately that somewhere along development, it must of had some inspirational support from the dungeons design in from the 1st Legend of Zelda game of 1996.

That aside, I was very sceptical about this game when I saw other people play it. I felt like they made it seem more fun than it really is, but after it was for sale for under £3 I jumped to the chance to play it myself, along with the Wrath of the Lamb DLC. This game is tremendously addictive, if it wasn't for the sombre music throughout the game, I would play it more often, however it does give the game the perfect feel that it needs.

To play the game you use the WSDA keys to move and the Directional buttons to attack with tear projectiles. You collect keys, bombs and money to buy items from a store, or if you're lucky enough to come across an arcade to gamble your coins. As you progress you will kill various monsters that are somewhat difficult to defeat, but once you have faced off against them enough times you'll get the rhythm of it. While passing through the different rooms in the dungeon, you'll come across different doors with all kinds of loot you can pick up to either enhance your combat skills, some kind of passive item to help you along the way, or a one use item every now and then that'll really come in handy in tight situations. You'll mostly find the good items in the golden rooms, but most of the time you need a key to open one, so make sure you keep an eye on what you spend and waste, but there is always a chance you'll find a secret room of some kind with more loot or another item to help you beat the dungeon.

There is at least one boss in each dungeon floor, like the enemies, they are somewhat difficult to defeat, but there all different and do require you to think if you want to defeat them. Once you defeat said boss it'll give you another item to help you out, and maybe some hearts to replenish your health. Once you have cleared a area you can progress even deeper, and I promise you it does get way more difficult. I would say more but some parts are really enjoyable and it is worth your time if you like a classic arcade feel to your video game.

Give it a try yourself, what have you got to lose. Thank you for reading!

If you are after a care free fun game with lovable characters and a absolute crazy battle time, then give this very popular game a spin!
Whether you are a action game veteran pro or a newbie bottom feeder, this is something you'll quickly pick up in no time, if you play alone or with a friend or a team, this game is fun for all situations for hardcore, casual or some serious tournament play time.
With a generous selection of characters to choose from, I am positive you'll find a class that suits you, or helps out your team. The characters are all unique with their own abilities and buffs to attack the other team, defend yours or help out your fellow players.
A brief class specification is in order so I'll give a quick rundown of what they can all do. Scout it's a fast character with a double jump move, his weapons are normally a selection of saw off shot guns with pistols and a nicely range melee weapon. Soldier a long ranged character with normal speed, armed with rocket launchers equipped with buffing items to help out yourself and other around you, with a few nasty melee weapons. Pyro is a semi-fast character, ready with flamethrowers with a spare shotgun or flare gun, and can't forget about the flame retardant melee weapons. Demoman is a normal speed character but has 2 very different play styles, first being an explosives expert by planting bombs or shooting them over and through players to create a way open for the faster attackers. And second is a sword wielding fast passed mad man, with many items to help you get a great ranged weapon and a charge up attack you'll chopping head in no time. Heavy is a slow, but very powerful character, with the most health in the game and the most fire power, you can easily clear a whole room in no time, powered with a mini gun some handy snacks to help out his states, and some illegal boxing gloves, you'll be a power house to be reckoned with. Engineer main strength lie in helping out other player and defending points of the map by building machines, if you build turrets to mow down your enemies, or teleporters to get from A to B you'll be a huge help to your team, ready with a shot gun and a wee pistol you can also get your hands dirty too. Medic is a somewhat fast character with the technology to heal your teams mates, when you heal a certain number of points you can use an ability to uber charge a team mate, where they'll be invincible for a short amount of time, this is very useful in some situations, equipped with a syringe gun and a bone saw he's not just a helpful doctor. Sniper is very handing for taking out trouble from a long way, with his large collection of sniper rifles you can be a head shot pro in no time, equipped with helpful items for your team and a very large bush knife, you do not want to get close to this guy either. Spy is for player who love to sneak around, with his special watch he can cloak himself to seem invisible, armed with a fancy revolver and large back stabbing knife, you better keep an eye open or you're done for, and don't think your machines are safe either, with his sapper your builds are a piece of cake to him.

With all that said I would say everyone should at least play this once, it's free so what's keeping you, Thank you for reading!

In this review I try my best to be fair and not let me opinion of this game get in the way of a safe and reliable review.

ARMA II is quite possibly among other shooter games, has the most expansive world maps to offer in army games, I can safely say in terms of freedom ARMA II takes the gold. But now with that out of the way I can also say that this is also one of the most uninspiring games I've played sense a Call Of Duty game, at least the Battlefield series showed off some variety when it came to what to improve on the next title, but this game honestly just feels like a PC Modded, low resolution, repetitive version of Call Of Duty.. or Medal of Honour, although the Medal of Honour series has a way better story line than any realistic shooter that I've come across so far.

Having trying to play single player and almost falling asleep bored stiff, I couldn't really think of anything interesting to say about it, other than it's nothing like I've played before... After my try out of single player I decided to try out multiplayer to see if playing with other people made a difference to the game. To start with the wide selection and filters there were to even get on a server was staggering, when I finally got onto a server I was shot dead, not saying I'm a saw loser, but it would be nice if there was a fair chance to get started with. I tried again and I had some luck this time however the only difference to the game feel was there we aggressive people on the mics and I didn't feel part of a unit, I felt like a joke.

I did have a bad experience playing this game, but then again I have a bad experience playing and shooter games, I suppose there just not for me, but you shouldn't take my word of it, try the free demo and see for yourself what you think. Thank you for reading!

Proteus is a interesting creation to me, It's clearly a video game but the it's nothing like I've played before, however saying that it does resemble some similarity to another game called "Dear Esther", the idea of both of those games is to explore and have a sense of adventure to progress to completing it. In Dear Esther however there is a narrator telling you bits of a story and it all pieces together when you finish the journey, in Proteus though there isn't a back story, or a plot, or an objective, there's nothing to do either, it's very mysterious and from what I've heard from people they've seen and found thing I didn't see and vice versa.

You start the game by left clicking on the isles in the background, you spawn in the ocean next to the shore, you use the WASD keys to move and mouse to look around as the norm for most PC games, you must explore to continue the game and like I said before there's no object so do as you please, also the notice how the music changes depending on where you are, but it's not only the music you should notice, everything in the environment makes a unique sound of some sort. I remember chasing a frog for a while all because it makes a sparkly spring noise when it hops, everything makes a sound, and sometimes you have to wait until night time to hear some interesting sounds.

I found to continue to another part of the game, you have to wait until night time and find out where the these floating white partials are heading and follow them, you'll soon find a large cluster of them almost dancing in a circle, head inside the circle and you'll be taken into a new part of the game, it's easy to figure out what this game is basing its ideas on but all the same, you'll have to see for yourself, or buy it and have a go.

Not much else to say about Proteus with it being a sort game, I managed to finish just under an hour, but if you take your time and find everything you can find this game will easily last you more than a week. I urge everyone who reads this to please try it out, over your mind to something bigger than your attachment to your comfort zone and try something new, it's won't hurt to try right? Thank you for reading!

Amnesia: The dark descent is the scariest game I have ever played, when I first played the demo I honestly couldn't move everything time I had to enter another room, or even look around the corner without freaking out, however I am a jumpy person and I find the dark and things that aren't real, the scariest thing, so this game is right up my alley, and hopefully a game you can enjoy too.

The game starts out as you waking up with no memory of what events transpired before, you must find out what happened to you and why the castle is in the state that it's in, simple A to B objective but it's a long ride, and made to feel even longer with the horrible event that happen.

The controls are simple, use the WASD keys to move and the mouse to pick and or collect items and G to hold up your lantern to light the way, also need to know, you'll have to collect tinder boxes and lantern oil if you want to keep the light up, the tinder boxes will help for permanent light in certain areas but the lantern is portable but is temerity. if you don't keep yourself in the light your sanity meter will decrease, and if your sanity fades complete you'll lose the game. you've also got to keep your health on top with medicine you'll find around the pace, as there are monsters waiting to get you when you least expect it, and you can't fight back either, it's run or be killed.

That's a mechanic I'd like to mention, I bet we all have that friend that acts like he or she has no fears at all and tried to big themselves up to achieve some sort of personal goal with their self esteem. This game will mess them up if played as intended, in the dark, headphones on full, they will crap themselves. Because in reality, the common person would never start a fight with something as horrific as these creatures, let's face the facts, so this game will tap into your innocents as your character isn't a fighter at all, so you have to act like one to play the game, there for if played with total commitment you'll achieve total immersion. That's how you play a video game with full enjoyment. Or you can act like spawn of Rambo and ruin the experience for everyone, Talking to you contrarians.

This game is worth getting, it's short compared to the leading brands, but there are hundreds of custom stories people have made for you to try and you'll remember it for the rest of your life. Thank you for reading!

I try my best to avoid first person shooters at all cost, I think there boring and very repetitive, doesn't hold much to the imagination of humans being to say "Let's make a game where you shoot a gun" but we can do that in real life so I don't understand what the huge fascination is about them. That is unless someone makes it so you can shoot something not real, or the weapon you have is just crazy, that is why I recommend Killing Floor.

This first person shooter horror survival is very enjoyable, play solo or with your friends there is plenty to look forward to and a number of weapons to try out, and not to mention if you think the game is too easy you can increase the difficulty, and trust me you will lose many times if you don't know what you're doing.

The game feel is frightening by yourself, and you get a sense of what it would be like if a huge wave of monsters was coming for you, and even with friends the tension you feel is still there, just make sure you have a good team unless your all done for.

There are a good number of maps and monster to empty your clips on, ranging from downtown London to a hillbilly bayou, you'll have plenty to keep you busy. And if that's not enough for you, there are 7 perks you can level up to make yourself and your team even stronger. At the beginning I thought to myself "I'll level these guys up in no time at all" how wrong I was, level each perk will take a long time to reach the highest rank of perk. I grained the medic class only for 3 months and I achieved highest rank. and that the easy one! Aside from medic, there is Sharpshooter, firebug, demo, berserker, support and commando with their own unique weapons to use and own unique abilities to help you out.

This game its worth buying and I highly recommend it, hours of fun and you'll defiantly not complete it within a week. Thank you for reading!
