It's an amazing game but they really dropped the ball by making us make a PSN account. I can't even refund it anymore.

Sony reversed their decision for now. We'll see how long that lasts, but it was the right move.

It's good

It's satisfying to see a bunny hopping Mario wannabe get blown away by a shotgun when they turn the corner.

It's not good. Just play MCC instead.

I've been keeping it up with Thrive on and off since 2012-2013 and it has gone a long way from the very first releases. Glad to see that they finally made it on steam. Definitely pick it up if you want to support an extremely dedicated team creating the Spore we deserved.

It's good, updates are slow though.

The beginning of the end for Halo by shifting to trend chasing (QTEs, permanent sprint, kill streaks, loadouts) rather than trend setting. Very sad.

I was right, they're adding microtransactions to sell the Season Points now "Spartan Points." Milking an 8 year old game with games that are 10-20 years old. Pathetic from 343 but I called it. I guess the abysmal Halo Infinite launch means they got to go milk the dedicated playerbase of MCC instead.

The day has come for the updated review of the MCC

The no recommendation stays, not because I'd not recommend it as a blanket statement but there's no “Buy on Sale and if you're a big Halo fan and are okay with problems” option. While 343i has changed SOME things to make it more PC friendly, being able to rebind some keys and the fixing of the crouch while walking issue, they still haven't fixed the biggest problem in the game. Aim Assist and Bullet Magnetism for controller. My doubts of AA and BM not being removed have been proven right, and they refuse to do so. Season Points are now easier to get, luckily, and the grind isn't as brutal as it was during the initial two or three months but it's still not fun to grind out the higher levels. My new prediction, 343i will sell the Season Points under the guise that “fans” asked for them. Halo CE's port was botched and has problems that aren't fixed, graphical and audio issues, the Halo Reach audio issues are still present, Halo 2A had some MAJOR issues when first launched but they're fixed now, and now with Halo 3 out, my favorite Halo 3, I can say they've went 4/4 and botched that too. Co-op stutters like hell completely ruining the experience, however I imagine it will be fixed, but again it's this absolute incompetence that keeps coming up again and again. Some more dire things that have been around for YEARS on the xbone MCC, the hitreg being trash or the spawns completely being trash (ie spawning in front of enemies, spawning in a firefight, the entire enemy team spawning in front of you), they're still not fixed. These are issues that they've known for years and still haven't fixed it, why? Season 2's unlocks are lame, CE MP skins and some nameplates, which admittedly some are cool looking, but just lame.

The worse thing is, they focus their time on dumb virtue signaling and pandering, going after 1-2% of people who talk in VC for making jokes, instead of fixing the damn game and make it playable. No I don't care if someone calls me a mean word, what I do care is if I dome the dude and it doesn't register. That angers me, not some word that rhymes with bigger with a dose of t-bagging. Fix the damn game, stop virtue signaling, no one cares, they're not your core audience. Twitter is not your core audience, you've killed a massive part of the Halo's charm, the trash talking, for some feel good foofoo trash?

Halo 4 still sucks.
