Decent deckbuilding board game. Worth the relatively cheap price in my opinion.

Cons:
- Difficulty is quite easy for someone with experience playing other deckbuilding games
- Game length is quite short (I finished all challenges and missions in the game in 14 hours Steam time with AFKing, there is no post-game content)
- Not a lot of variance as the deck size is customizable, you can even limit your deck to the same as your draw size and then just spam one combo every turn
- Although there are 4 characters, to unlock their cards you must grind missions to level them up. It doesn't take long, but as there is no real repeatable content, you just have to do the same mission a couple times if you care to unlock them
- Basically no story

Pros:
- Difficulty can be slightly increased by challenging yourself to finish all the "challenges" in a single try, although it can still be done for almost every map on first try
- Cool out-of-game permanent talent tree that unlocks as you complete challenges and allows for some customization
- Each of the characters has a couple of their own keywords and each has a build that can be crafted around it
- Different mission objectives encourage different builds, on some maps raw damage is important, on others movement is all that matters
- Art is cool

If the devs are still working on this, I would recommend adding some kind of randomized post-game as I would like to continue playing the game but have no real reason to. Adding this would bring some much-needed difficulty to the game, a place to grind other characters levels, and extend the replayability past the story missions.

i will try not to spoil. story was really boring. they don't get you invested in any of the characters, continually have events where it seems like the player is supposed to have an emotional response but it is very difficult to feel anything when there is no build up. there is also no real direction for the story, it completely changes its focus multiple times, to the point where the ending is just some crap they made up in the last bit of it.

at least the combat was reasonably fun but, it quickly grew boring due to the same enemies being in the literal tutorial and the final dungeon of the game. a bit disappointed tbh.

however, if you are really starved for JRPGs its not awful by any means. i would just not recommend it over other great games available.

Terrible game, when I bought it I was transported into an alternate universe where I was forced to oversee the villagers of "Dongtown". I was forced to micromanage these peoples lives for the majority of my day for 3 days straight. Finally after successfully getting the town to a point where it could support 200+ people and sustain itself with the highest level of gear available, 53 nomads show up wanting to join in on the fun.

Considering how 80% of the population was enlisted in farming, gathering, hunting, or whatever other food generating job, and that we had 30,000 units of food in storage, it should be fine, right? What is another 53 people going to do to disrupt that??

Immediately the food stores started rapidly dropping, and even upon completion of more food generating sources, it stayed low and over 150 people died of starvation in the next 2-3 years. You'd think it would stabilize since literally EVERYONE's job was food generation and we supported more people than it evened out at before. But, no, everyone kept dieing of starvation despite the thousands of units of food stored right next to their homes.

I left those people to their own demise, if they are that stupid, I will aid them no longer.

Farewell Dongtown..

This isn't too much of a game since almost every choice is an illusion, but the story is amazing regardless. Lee is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass. Clementine is adorable. RIP Mark's leg (oh man saw that part coming so hard).

Caillou is a whiny little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but his spells are pretty OP, even a potato could kill every boss with him.

Bioware really put the "Àss" in Mass Effect with this one!

This game is literally Magicite but instead of crafting and collection there is power-ups. So I'd say it is slightly less fun. Both are great. RNG on drops is kinda ♥♥♥♥ though, since if you go with a weak character and you don't get good ones as one of your early powerups, you may as well kill yourself.

This is the next WoW-killer. Just look at those screenshots on the store page. So many explosions you can't even see anything. Numbers everywhere. Names everywhere. Animus, waifus we got 'em all.
