Zombies cannot solve the riddle of the Sphinx, and by Sphinx I mean standing on am elevated surface.
Cutscenes are laughably terrible.
Game blatantly uses stock or stolen assets.
Game repeatedly locked up from the Herculean task of unlocking and opening a door.
Don't bother.

Ever wanted a game modeled after mid-90s survival horror that doesn't understand mid-90s survival horror? Back in 1995 has you covered!

Weird warping textures that make it look like the floors and walls are doing the wave? Check.
A character who can't run in an already slow-running game? Check.
Small selection of enemies even slower than the main character to ensure they're completely non-threatening? Check.
Enemies that look like sweet potatoes? Check.
Gameplay that constantly gets bogged down by fetch quests and dirt simple puzzles? Check.
Embarrassing voice work for most characters? Check. (Okay, they did get that part right about mid-90s survival horror.)

This is the kind of game that should only exist as something Bart Simpson is shown playing for 5 seconds in a random Simpsons episode as a joke, but it's a whole game.

My one issue with this game is the controls, specifically the keyboard controls, which can't be remapped. It's specifically made for ASDF movement and some other letters for the various attacks and moves, but some of them are uncomfortable to pull off, especially if they need to be done multiple times or quickly changing from one to another.

Aside from that, I really like it. The learning curve for doing various things with the bat—mid-air bounces take a bit of practice—is steep at first, but it's got enough unique elements and mechanics to not just be "Shovel Knight with a sports theme", there's solid differentiation between each level in terms of what the game asks the player to do, and it's the kind of thing I can either play for an hour or switch on, complete a level, and go about the rest of my day.

It seems like every time I play this game, I see or hear something that makes me laugh. Hand of Doom is very self-aware about what it is and what it's modeled itself after, and it embraces and pokes fun at its inspirations. The HUD, the dialogue, the graphical style, the spell system, it all plays into that. That said, it does have some modern conveniences, such as the very generous checkpoint placement.
My biggest problem is that sometimes the environments get a bit too large, and it becomes difficult to track down where a key item or objective is without a lot of trial-and-error exploration. Outside of that though? I like it.

A game composed of poorly slapped together assets from a developer known for making games with poorly slapped together assets, only this time they desperately want to be Great Value Resident Evil.
In terms of design it's a copy-paste job from the first (also terrible) EBOLA game.
It runs as well as a horse on rollerblades.
It has voice acting more robotic than Microsoft Sam.
I can only recommend this to people who have a fetish for stock footage, as it keeps showing up in awkward fahsion.

Aside from the one zombie model used over and over and the idea of a guy who lost his arms and legs somehow running around a hospital shooting at zombies, the update apparently changed the game a lot. For example, while the first stage can be completed in seconds because the objectives don't matter, it's not possible to complete the second stage because it seems like you spawn outside of the part of the map you're supposed to be in.

This is a very tentative thumbs up because the game is decent fun, but it's marred by technical issues (walls with no collision detection, sound bugs, black frames) and a couple gameplay flaws (the camera). Here's hoping future patches address some of these concerns.

With this being a more minimalist, go-at-your-own-pace, vert-based experience where the main goal is just to vibe and do some tricks, and for its price point, I enjoyed/enjoy it. The physics of carving for speed and prepping for spins add that little something extra.

Comparisons to, say, the WWE2K series don't seem appropriate considering this game was put together by a dev team of five people plus the CHIKARA wrestlers. It's lacking in mechanics and flash (e.g. no entrances, no back grapples, no apron moves), but at the same time it's designed more for an arcade experience than a simulation.
What wins me over is the creation suite, which can be downloaded for free separately. It allows for model shaping and texture mapping that means just about anything can be made a wrestler. I just held a tournament where, among other things, a bottle of Faygo Orange wrestled the Necronomicon, Incineroar fought a Pepsi vending machine, and Funky Kong (still on his surfboard) wrestled Earthworm Jim.
