Warcrime Simulator 2035

I kid- in all seriousness ARMA 3 is a very good game; it's much like Garry's Mod or other 'platform games' in that the extensive content creation and modding tools (albeit a bit clunky by modern standards) present allow for a massive sandbox of potential scenarios and content that can be made or played in the game.

Want to play fun, more arcade-type co-op missions with your friend group on huge maps? You can.
Want to play fast-paced, combined-arms PvP with randoms on a public server? You can.
Want to use scripting to make a monstrous, functioning golem of attachTo'd-together vehicles that destroys entire cities in the mission you're making? You can do that too, and more.

ARMA 3 is one of those games that literally will not become irrelevant until Bohemia makes an ARMA 4.

Visually stunning, fun, and challenging.

The first 'proper' Ace Combat game I've played (discounting the PS3's Infinity), and it's a blast, if a bit challenging at times.

Well worth the $60.

Also, ignore the review bombers who wanna ♥♥♥♥♥ about not being able to use their damn HOTAS units on a game that's not really meant for that, even after the devs said they'll fix the problem.

Amazingly fun and addictive free to play 3rd-person action game. Set in a sci-fi, but highly unqiue far-future version of our solar system, you bascially play as one of many space ninjas (the "Tenno") who are beginning to re-emerge after many years of cryosleep. Lots of enemies await their slaughter, and the deves continually add new, high-quality content to the game.

Also, it's not pay-to-win, as nearly every single gameplay-affecting item can be crafted entirely for FREE, with a bit of grinding of course.

10/10, would DL again if necessary.

Early Access Review
This game is by far one of the best recent F2P games to come out, and an awesome Sci-fi mech game to boot.

Insanely awesome! This game essentially is all the source engine games (well, most of them) unlocked as a gigantic sandbox, plus it has endless piles of user-created content. All in all, a must-have for any Steam user with Half-Life 2.
