The world, the combat and the various activities you can do in this game are just amazing, it isn't one of those open-worlds where the icons on the map are overwhelming and become a chore after a while. Side missions are engaging with quite a bit of variety. They have nailed the "student" part of the game as well. You actually have to do "assignments" to be able to learn and unlock various spells. I just wish the spell management system via set was a bit better, it becomes a but cumbersome to juggle the sets in the heat of the combat.

Now coming to the biggest issue - Performance on PC
I have 5800x + 3080 + 64GB RAM and the game runs on an NVME, yet the shaders load slowly every time I launch the game. I'm playing at 4k with DLSS at Performance without any Ray-tracing (Ray-tracing absolutely sucks in this game) and yet FPS constantly drop to under 25, sometimes to 15 when loading a new environment/scene. After a while you don't notice the performance drop but it's horrible. Reminds me of the time when I played AC Revelation at 15 fps on a core2duo.

I definitely recommend this game but the performance issues have to be fixed ASAP

This game reminded me on why I love games!
The first time I booted the game I played for 3 hours straight and I could've continued couple of more hours too but it's 4.30am. Man, it's addictive as hell, the dialogues are amazing and the combat feels natural. At no point you feel like it's clunky in any way or the fights are unfair.
