edit: Нет, не стоило оно того. Сюжет банальный и скучный, а персонажи плохо прописаны, особенно главный герой. Ведёт себя как полный мудак, симпатии не вызывает и играть за него не хочется. Арт и музыка хороши, но это не спасает, если история кал.

Easily the best stealth-action. If you like the genre it's a must play.

Okay, I get it, they tried to make a horror game out of Doom.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a boring, repetitive, easy shooter with bad gunplay. You get used to demons jumping out on you after 15 minutes. Overly dark locations don't make it scary either, it's just annoying that you can't see ♥♥♥♥. And weapons impact doesn't feel meaty at all, it's just... there.
I love original Doom and Doom II. Doom (2016) is good and Eternal is sublime. So you better go play them instead for true Doom experience.
And if you're looking for a horror shooter, go play F.E.A.R. and its expansions. They're awesome.

The game is capped at 60 fps and there's no way to uncap it. And it even drops to 50 all the time (I have RTX 2070 and overall decent rig). Absolutely unacceptable for a game on PC. I guess it's optimized for consoles, but porting it to PC just like that is nothing but dev's laziness. Not recommended.

Although I love Hitman games I can't really recommend the first one. It was great for it's time because of never seen before stealth mechanics, it was really something new and exciting, but further games in the series improved gameplay so much that Codename 47 just looks obsolete and clunky comparing to them. It was an experiment which gave life to an awesome series, but now it's nothing more than a history lesson for the fans.
