OPERATOR is an early access game in every sense of the word, but you should not let this turn you off from the game. Vector is very transparent about his plans with the game and very open to suggestions on how to improve the game. On top of this, the game updates pretty frequently. You can even tune into livestreams in the discord server and watch the game be developed in real time.

The people saying they cannot recommend the game are not looking at the full picture. They are looking at it through the scope of it being a feature complete and 1.0 ready game, which it is not and is not intended to be.

Go into this game with a playtesting mindset and leave feedback when you see something you don't like or a bug. But definitely check the game out. It's doing a lot of stuff better than 99% of other tactical shooters.

The wait was well worth it. The game is gorgeous and runs great. Expands on what The Forest needed to and doesn't add too much BS that gets in the way. One negative I will give is the inventory is a little harder to navigate than in the last game.

This was originally a meme review but I'm editing it to say that the current state of CoD is possibly unrecoverable. We are to the point where we have Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, clowns, aliens, robots, etc. in CoD MP on day one. We don't even get the grace period of a coherent art direction for season 0 anymore. In-game purchasables have rendered the game unrecognizable. You have no idea who is on what team so they have to put blue dots above everyone's head because there is no sense of organization whatsoever.

This franchise has lost direction. What was once the pinnacle of military themed FPS games is now just first person Fortnite.

don't buy their next project either, it's a bait and switch. it originally was going to be a multiplayer CoD4-style shooter but they stripped all the multiplayer parts out of it and now are going to sell literally just the tutorial

Absolutely the best sitting at a desk simulator I've ever played. Valve could make sharpening a pencil fun.

At launch there were a few audio/visual bugs but now, just a few weeks after launch they appear to be nearly completely ironed out. All that remains in terms of bugs is a weird screen tearing issue at 60hz, which is common in all games. As for gameplay, there's not much to say. It's Halo. If you like Halo, you'll like Halo on PC running in 4k with variable FOV slider and uncapped framerate. This is a great port of a cult classic series that is sure to please long-time fans and newcomers alike.

If you enjoyed Contract Wars and wish that there was an arcade version of Tarkov, this game is absolutely perfect. I wish there were more players but it's relatively easy to populate a server by joining an empty or partially full one and waiting a few minutes. Players seem to always show up, especially on Bay5 since it's a remaster of a CW map.
