The game is immaculate. Don't listen to people complaining about performance. The game literally tells you that you're going to have bad performance while they work on optimization. You can literally just turn down the cloud rendering settings and get good frames on basically any computer. The game also has DLSS and FSR support.

People are mad because they tried to run a game that renders like 1000 cubic miles of real volumetric clouds at max settings on outdated cards.

This game is good and I recommend it if you are into storm chasing games, as it does the weather portion better than any other game currently out.

Love this game. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it because Sony's recent policy change requiring a PSN sign in means that a large amount of people who purchased this game can no longer play it despite having purchased it for $40. Additionally, Sony is unsafe and has had numerous data breaches very recently.

Edit: Sony has now backed off on the requirement, so I can once again recommend to play this game, as it really is one of the best co-op shooters to release in the past decade or more.

This is one of the worst CoD games ever made. The maps are 15 years old and don't play well with the new movement at all, the TTK is god-awful and nonsensical with useless automatic weapons, overpowered melee, shotguns and snipers. There is no semblance of balance whatsoever and it's clear that this game was made for the sole purpose of selling skins and was not given even close to enough time in the oven. There is not a single fun moment to be had in this game. Do not let fake YouTube content creators tell you otherwise. For $70-100USD this game should be held to the highest standards possible, but it fails to meet even my lowest expectations for Call of Duty. The campaign feels like it's spitting in the face of MW2019 and MWII, which is hilarious because those games don't even have particularly good stories. This one is on another level of bad, though. MW Zombies is also hilariously bad, literally being paywalled DMZ with all the PvP removed and nothing to do but shoot zombies and cheese the mode to unlock guns because unlocking them in Multiplayer is next to impossible without spending your entire day focusing on nothing but daily challenges.

The skins are also an unwelcome return from MWII. Nothing about Spawn, Groot, Alucard, or Dune makes me think about Call of Duty. There is absolutely no reason to have these skins in the game and they do nothing but alienate the core fanbase because the developers would rather make money off of literal children than the people who got them where they are.

OPERATOR is an early access game in every sense of the word, but you should not let this turn you off from the game. Vector is very transparent about his plans with the game and very open to suggestions on how to improve the game. On top of this, the game updates pretty frequently. You can even tune into livestreams in the discord server and watch the game be developed in real time.

The people saying they cannot recommend the game are not looking at the full picture. They are looking at it through the scope of it being a feature complete and 1.0 ready game, which it is not and is not intended to be.

Go into this game with a playtesting mindset and leave feedback when you see something you don't like or a bug. But definitely check the game out. It's doing a lot of stuff better than 99% of other tactical shooters.
