What makes this game so great is its focus on giving the player different options to handle sticky situations.
You want to go in guns blazing and punch peeps to death. Go right ahead.
How about setting up traps to knock out or lock out guards by hacking. Hack away.
Like sneaking in, jumping between buildings, and climbing walls like a ninja. Better get your spider senses tingling.

Design choices such as holding guards at gunpoint, diving into guards to their death, and the crosslink system
show a lot of care went in the design of this game and allow emergent opportunities.

By nature of the noire mood and the dialogue handle only through text, the story is a little hard to follow.
However, the game also gives you the option to not care about the story and get right into the game.

Playing this reminded me of games like Deus Ex and Hitman (though I'm not saying its the same thing) and is a triumph of great PC game design.

This is seriously one of the best and engrossing games I've played in a long time.

Good soundtrack too.
