Where do I even begin with the practices of Gaijin Entertainment? Let's dive into the abyss, shall we?

First off, let's talk about those pesky Golden Eagles. Oh, the allure of those shiny virtual coins that promise to enhance your gaming experience. But wait, hold on a minute! It quickly becomes apparent that Gaijin has a penchant for dangling these precious Eagles in front of players like a carrot on a stick.

The prices they charge for in-game items and premium content are nothing short of exorbitant. It's as if they've discovered a magical formula for draining wallets faster than a leaky faucet. The constant pressure to spend real money to stay competitive feels like a never-ending itch that you can't scratch.

But that's not all, my friends. Let's not forget the mind-boggling repair costs. You know, those hefty bills you have to foot after a battle, even if you barely managed to scratch the paint on your vehicle. It's like Gaijin's way of saying, "Hey, thanks for playing! Now, give us all your hard-earned Lions because, why not?"

Oh, and don't get me started on the community. It's a mixed bag of toxic players, trolls, and self-proclaimed experts who think they know it all. Instead of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, Gaijin seems content to let the community simmer in a stew of hostility and arrogance.

Let's not forget the joy of encountering bugs and glitches that have been lingering around since the dawn of time. It's as if Gaijin has adopted a laissez-faire attitude, allowing these issues to persist while they focus on churning out new premium vehicles and events.

Now, I could go on and on about the questionable matchmaking, the questionable balance, and the questionable decisions made by Gaijin, but I think you get the picture. War Thunder has its charms, no doubt, but it's overshadowed by the cloud of questionable practices and money-grabbing schemes that loom over the game like a dark storm.

So, if you're prepared to navigate the treacherous waters of microtransactions, repair bills, and a less-than-stellar community, by all means, give War Thunder a whirl. Just be sure to brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride of frustration, disappointment, and the constant nagging feeling that you're being taken for a ride.

Collect wood and stone for 2 hours straight. Find a friend. Make a house. Kill some guys and get their loot. Go outside and see a group of people heading towards you. You lock yourself in the house. You decide to come out after 1 hour. They are camping in front of the door for the whole time. Get killed and get robbed. IGN 11/9
