Completed the game in 8 minutes

Game is pretty trash but I wish taxis would be this fast irl too :D

Multiplayer doesn't work so I refunded. Campaign is fantastic tho.

If you like running millions of kilometers and killing crazy cannibals and mutants while completing hella good story, this is the game for you.

So, it's a great game like it's predecessor. I bought it in december of 2023 when it was in the final version of the early access. Many people has said that this game is a running simulator. Yes, that's partly true. The map is VERY big. Four times bigger than the original The Forest map. On the first playthrough of the story I really didn't mind running across the map exploring it at the same time. The map offers you SO many exciting places with great graphics. The woods and the overall nature looks so good and it's fun to explore.

The story will change when 1.0 version releases but in early access it was still great. I will update this part of the review when I have completed the 1.0 story.

Gameplay is very good. Movement is great and controls overall feel good. There is veeeery much different equipment and items you can collect from all around the island. The game has many guns etc. to help you out in killing enemies. I even stopped using them at one point because they just made the game too easy. In the early access it was possible to farm ammo and therefore I had over 500 rounds of each ammo type.

Graphics could be better. I mean they are so so so good and I play on ultra settings but still I feel like they could be better. Maybe they will upgrade in 1.0.

Couldn't really think of many downsides :D Some bugs. For some reason when you press crouch, the character won't sometimes get back up and he stays crouched for some seconds even though I have released the crouch button.

Idk how to write good reviews but overall a great experience. I RECOMMEND YOU BUY IT B)

Pretty boring game

Bought it from discount(40€ price tag is stupid).

Played one Conquest match on Seine Crossing and it was great, just as I remembered. I played Bf3 while back on Ps3 and got around 1200 hours in it in total.

Game looks good and runs very well. The only bad thing I can think of now is that I had some problems finding full servers through Battlelogs server browser. It showed some servers full but when I joined they were almost empty with just a few players.

Even tho the game was released back in 2011 it looks just like it would be a new game. Bf3 really was a head of its time! The game has a great campaign which I recommend every one should play through at least once in their life. Multiplayer is a lot of fun alone or with friends (like all Battlefield games). When you buy Bf3 from Steam you automatically get the Premium version of the game which grants you access to all great DLC's and I noticed there are still many servers that run all DLC maps so you wont get bored playing only the original maps.

A blast from the past

Great childhood game. Game looks good and 100% completion was easier than I remembered. 100% took me about 10 hours in total so not too hard, would recommend for everyone who have played this game on PS2 while back.

Maybe the greatest Battlefield title for real. Still plays good in early 2024 and servers are still very much alive.

Started playing Battlefield titles on Ps3 and my first one was in 2011 when Bf3 launched. Obviously I didn't have the age for it back then but luckily my brother picked it up from the store :P I later on introduced myself to both Bad Company games and liked BC2 hella lot. I also tried many other older titles(Battlefield 1943 <3). I got Bf4 for Ps3 shortly after it's launch. I played it over 1000 hours until I switched to Ps4 and got other 1000 hours on it. Could call myself a Battlefield veteran at this point after 13 years of playing and trying all of the titles.

Anyways, now for the review.

Can't remember when I bought Bf4 for PC but it was from sale. Maybe wouldn't buy it for it's full steam price but it's a good deal from sale since it's the premium version which grants you access to all DLC's.

If you want to play the game for it's campaign. Yes, I can recommend it. I can say this without lying that I have completed it over 10 times over the years. The story is decent and the campaign has lots of collectables and different challenges to unlock achievements. From all the Battlefield campaigns I have played, this one gets the lowest score from me.

What comes to the multiplayer. At the time of writing this review it's early 2024 and I still find many servers full of players. On weekdays in EU the servers are full during day time but they start to die the more late it gets. During weekends the servers stay full past midnight. Many servers still have almost all DLC maps in their map rotations.

Can't actually think of anything bad to say about this title. If you have played Bf4 in the past but don't own it on PC yet. BUY IT when you still can and the multiplayer is still alive. If you have never touched this title or any other titles. STILL BUY IT :D

Maybe I'm blinded by the nostalgia when I think about what this game was like in it's prime days. But I still give it a solid 9/10 !
