Retribution is more or less the definition of above average. It constantly almost reaches RTS greatness, yet falls short in it's obvious sequel quality. A step in the right direction, it paves the way for Dawn of War 3 more than acts as a brilliant stand alone chapter in the Games Workshop universe.

One of the best RPG's ever made. What it lacks in length it more than makes up for in an innovative combat design, unmatched writing, deep characters, and a deep, intricate universe where nothing is truly the 'right' answer and there are no storybook heroes. It's real, gritty, and ♥♥♥-guzzlingly good.
