A modern classic, has all the good bits of the original. Only gripe is how much solid collision there is for your car to stop on but hey... the hyperspeed 50 tonne police cars aren't here that are in the original. So there's that.

Is good, is difficult.

If your after that 2005 nostalgia... Cheap deaths, Laser vision, Smellovision, Blood Gulch with aimbot enemy's I highly recommend playing on "Sniper Elite" difficulty.

Wouldn't pay full price, but often on sale which is then well worth it. why can't there be a base game like this?

I'd say this is the best game in the franchise like everyone else, But I've only played up to 3.

This game was alright, the graphics are aged more then i was expecting, the story is nice and having a WW2 free roam game is a nice change, gunplay is fine games a little jank overall. What i did not like however is driving physics, anything you hit was like a wrecking ball, also gravity was turned up to 9000 while drving, id say almost impossible to get airborn, its not but for the speed your doing it doesnt make sense. not a fan of the whole "Assassins creed" parkour and feel it would have been a better game without the cheap vertical gameplay.

Id recommend if your looking for something to scratch that spot, but with its ups comes a similar amount of downs.

An interesting title, The story both ties off Ezio's and Altiar's lives nicely.
Gameplay and controls still jank but doable, Didn't really drag on which is always nice, though the present time story arc at this point is pretty meh. Though i do think the series would have been better off had there not been a present day characters and just played as an assassin.

Build a car, drive it 3 minutes down the road before it breaks.
walk back and get the tractor to tow it back incredibly slowly.
Use the Jonnez to go get parts, fall off Jonnez and slam into a tree.
Die.
Reset game you now need to build the car again

The last bit is absolute bull, A classic game thats actually difficult at times
