So i'm not one to usually write reviews on games and this is a very rare exception.

Very rarely do games affect me in the way High On Life has. The countless times I've genuinely laughed at the jokes and snark remarks that the in-game characters make., and very rarely do i fully get committed to the story of a game. This game, for me, is phenomenal.

Yes, it is a short game but it's packed full of Easter eggs in dialogue and just downright hilarious moments. The level of detail that goes into every aspect of this game is incredible and its even carried through into the Credits.

It also has great replay-ability as there are so many different ways you can play the game and different dialogue options to choose from, and i can guarantee that i definitely missed somethings on my first play-through that i will be going back to find.

I highly recommend this game.

Counter Strike is Counter Strike, it's fun to play for the first 100 or so hours and then you get more obsessed with becoming a higher rank it begins to ♥♥♥♥ with your friendships. It's not good, not bad to me but its certainly not something im going to play regularly as it's just not the type of game i enjoy, although with a good group of mates this game can actually be pretty fun.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of my most played games, while at the time of the review i haven't sunk much time into it i know for a fact that I will be putting ALOT of time into it. This is due to the insane sale price on not only the base game but the DLC as well, absolute steal at the price.

ETS2 is a fantastic game, stunning base visuals, immense amount of content and amazing mod support (both through Workshop and other mod sites.) It's this mod support that gives ETS2 it's replayability for it. You could do every job in the game and download one mod such as a traffic mod or a graphics mod and the game would look and feel different every time. I often find myself playing this game after a long day at work as it is really good at relaxing the player and allowing them some headspace.

As this is a simulator i highly recommend getting a steering wheel pedals combo. I started out playing mouse and keyboard but then eventually moved onto controller. Playing with these devices was still fun and allowed me to experience the game however, playing with a steering wheel changes the game, you have to worry about force feed back, changing gears, clutch control and throttle control. Making the game harder but more interesting.

All in all ETS2 is a great game, even for casual players or simulation junkies. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering to buy it during the Winter Sales.
