This game is vary fun and is also a buggy mess, what a source mod that's broken? Oh well it's not that I think the game is bad but they need to make the addon downloader and everything else load faster.

Love using addon's, hate making them, coding for Garry's mod is like prostate cancer, it will piss you off more then it should, not only because all the lua coding references are bad, I could kill Garry for his dumb ass wiki site that does not help at all.

To make some of the addon's on Garry's mod that I uploaded, I had to look at other peoples code and have to look into the code of the game before I could even start, I love moding games, but not like this, not in a open engine that also is full of errors and nonsense ordering of code line for lua.

Also don't mind the crashing and error dumping of the Source Engine base on only good part of garry's mod base made by valve, this game loves to crash.

Other then that it's good.

Sonic the Hedgehog's first three dimensional game, first released on the Sega Dreamcast back in 1998. This title has seen releases on many systems such as Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox360's Xbox Arcade, PSN Store for Playstation 3 and even on some other platforms.

This game has aged very poorly, and can even be called unplayable at times. The music is OK for a racing game that sounds like a bad movie, almost all of the music in this game is a parody of real music and almost sounds like a lawsute waiting to happen.

The people at sega that made this port should be fired because, how in the hell did they think this was ready, they fixed the config problems but added a lot of gameplay and graphics glitches that where not in the first version uploaded to Steam.
Please make a new update Sega and fix the problems in this port.

Garbage

This game is bad it crashed when I tryed quiting because it was ♥♥♥♥, music volume was too brain and ear crushing, settings did not work at all, the gameplay is random and they give you all the guns at the start, this feels like it was a project by a little kid with no idea how to make a game.

This game is so bad I would give it a 0.001% out of 100%, I hate this game please remove it Valve.

EVER!!

Judging from the video I am looking at right now, my old review with complants of head and eye pain still stands. This game still looks like it was made in the Roblox engine. This title still looks really bad, but to be fair it does look like the lighting and colors are a little bit better but not by much. I can say from the video on the store page I still say i'll pass on this one.


If they add some texture to the game maybe I will give it another try, but for now I am sticking to my 90's video games which had some texture at least.

Sonic Generations is a celebration of Sonic 20th year of video gaming history, this title has no big complex plot just a normal Sonic game this time around, unlike Sonic's 15th celebration with broken game play and awful story, this game is good and I can say they did one hell of a good job with this one. The story, I can't say that it will be the most understandable but at least it's simple and only has one story this time unlike 2006's Sonic the Hedgehog.

The Music:
When it's good damn it's good; only a few tracks are off in this title, notably Sonic 2's chemical plant act2 and Sonic Adventures City Escape act2.

Sonic Generations is a buggy mess of a game, but at least it can be fun, even if there are a lot of flaws that I think could have been worked out with a little more testing and feedback from longterm fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

I could only think they Sonic Rushed it out the doors of there offices before even testing it for last minute bug fixes, the 3d engine camera is very broken and can even be broken from normal game play, this seems to be the case for all version of the game so if you think it’s just the PC version.


PC port specific errors:

Online mode crashes:
Even with a normal everyday Internet connection, this makes very little sense, the only thing it should be doing it downloading the scores and uploading the fastest time you have set in online time attack. If your Internet is slow even by a little bit or even if it is fast, it crashes and have you to restart the game to try again and hope to Jesus the bastard will not crash again.

Game Controller Support is broken:
If you have a xbox360 controller it works fine, if you don’t well you will have to download and install a modded pad input emulator to get the damn thing to work.

No window mode:
This is a retarded move that game programmers have made before, nothing to bad but if you wanted to do this well damn.

Video config glitch:
If you update your video card drivers and you then you try and play the game, it will give you an error and say for you to run the config, then after doing so nothing changes, it will keep giving you an error until you go into the game folder and delete a config file before you can play the game again.

I recommend this game only because it shows how Sonic needs better care when Sonic Team makes 2D games like this.

If I were to say something good about this game it's the special stages and some of the sprites look good, the music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful with every track only being around 32 or 34 seconds long with bad arrangements that makes me think I broke my Atari 2600.

As many other people have said that this game was only to cash in on "Classic Sonic Fans", I think they did this without even thinking about it first, they had no planing at all and this is what came of it.

If you like playing bad games pick this one up, and I would play this trash title first then Sonic 4 EP2.
