I wish you were still around, bud. The elapsing years seem to have gotten worse ever since you left. The memories of gathering at the round table during lunch and dinner have not faded, nor have the recollections of somehow always finding time to play L4D2 together with others. Those moments were evocative of simpler, happier times.

You were somebody I knew I could count on, to provide a shoulder I could rest my weary head on. You would never waver in your drive to be a beacon of positivity and, most of all, support. I just wish you were here, still. I just… I just wish I didn’t have to see you go so soon.
