This game has been there through so much in my life. It has been amazing to quick set up an intense battle or scenario using the map editor. Out of the 1000+ hours I have 99% of those have been spend in the editor. However. The developers need to add more intuitive map editor tools. Easier ways to set up invasion style scenarios and way better building occupation. Mortar and artillery explosions/damage are just clumsy and over powered to the point of leaving them out. For the amount of detail they go into infantry simulation the tanks still use a health bar system. I would expect/hope that the next armour game learns from games such as war thunder with the penetration and side effects of hits. Don't get me wrong. This is a fantastic game. Just... for a game that is aiming to be at the top of the sandbox and simulation it runs the risk of falling short of other games which are starting to take over.

I write this review with the hopes the arma devs get to see this (however I doubt they will). Please. Focus on the sandbox/narrative side of arma. Please factor in the desire of your players to recreate scenes from movies, real life battle events etc. Make it better and easier to set up CQB and intense urban warfare and please please please fix artillery so it is not so OP. As a player I want to start arma and design my own battle scenario to drop into and have a half an hour to hour long battle. I know you guys can do this. Please do this. I beg you!!
