Devs care. Talked to them, and they are getting too much hate. They from the start have been against modded clients and there are avatars that can help people with most disabilities interact with eachother. Such as keyboards, pens, charts explaining what asl letters are which. The only thing is subtitles for deaf people on movies. That is an issue world creators can most likely fix. They make movie worlds with all these movies adding a setting should not be too difficult. I don't blame anyone who does this but people have gotten too relient on the smallest mods and are treating this like its the end of days. There are solutions to everyone of these problems already in the game. They are going to add the features missing now more then ever because of the pressure being put on them to make up for getting rid of the mods. Running a community the amount of damage a single person who paid nothing for a client can do to something i spend years is ludicrious. EAC won't stop every mod but it is a deterient and most people wont risk it whereas everyone could do it with no concequences. I know alot of my homies will see this and i get your frustration but as a community owner there are alot of times you have to make decisions alot of people wont like but is needed to make the community safe. Just ask any small medium or large community owner or event hosts the amount of extra work we have to do just to have an event is crazy. As well if we piss off 1 random person at a fbt mirror means all of my communities avatars get ripped and all my events for next 3 months will get crashed as well as a map i paid 2k to have made will get stolen and posted for free for anyone because they "deserve respect". Once again to all my actual homies djs and content creators i have added that will see this love you, im just wanting to shed light on a different view as I feel all the nuiance is being ignored. So do not take this as an attack.
