It's Ok, good graphics I guess high fidelity, lumens blah blah, but no charm at all though to the design. its like AI generated them. Marvel Rivals gives off serious Paladins vibes, not Overwatch which people tend to compare it to. Not just beause its 3rd person, but its jankiness. It's nowhere near the same level of polish of OW even at launch (OW1).

Overwatch’s initial limited roster was built carefully, refined and expanded over years. Each character had some thought put into them, they didn't just use chatgpt or something to come up with the skill set for almost 3 dozens characters in one go. This game sure feels like it. Every char either throws slow projectiles (arrow, snow ball, energy ball, etc.) or shoot guns, with the same feel! None are statisfying. I tried to like Hawkeye the most because Hanzo is my fav but lol there is no skill to playing HE, and he has 4/5 stars difficuilty.

Like Paladins and Battleborn, this just feels unpolished. Anyways, maybe the game will get better but I doubt they'll change the bland gameplay. But Paladins still has its fans, and Marvel Rivals will as well and will do better but only because its Marvel.

Its fun and for me, right now, all characters seems to have the same basic moves and strategies so thats helpful considering the size of the roster. So you can be reasonably good with any character if you already learned those basics (movement, guard, and so on ). What sets them apart are mostly their special moves. And I think there's supposed to be archetypes like Broly is slow and hits hard.

Best SE game since SC1. The other SC are junk. That said, this game is dead on steam. No one online. Turn on cross platform ffs. Or release SC7.

My concerns that are more of substance have been addressed. Its a great game. Best of its kind. There are many copycats, Battleborn, Paladins, Marvel Rivals. OW is just in another dimension.

My main complaint now:

Scrapping single player because game development is hard??? ROFL. How long has OW1/OW2 been in development? OW1 sold 50 million COPIES. Revenue from loot boxes alone was over $1b in the first few years alone. You're not short on resources!

It's great but after not playing for a while...lets just say it's not like riding a bike. I miss the old fighting games where you can't get killed after just one combo. I blame games like killer instinct and capcom vs games.

I was having moderate fun, with the glitches and bugs and crap netcode. Fortnite, same engine, is wayyyy ahead. Youtube battle Nonsense Fortnite, tickrate is even better than BF1 and Overwatch now. It feels like PUBG kept the same old tired team that created the first version and never expanded.

And now, after hearing that they're suing people for the battle royale concept...meh I'm over this game. On PC and mobile, uninstalled.

Even suing mobile games like Knives Out after PUBG Mobile literally copied their mobile controls verbatim.
