Early Access Review
An early access game, yet it feels smooth like it's already finished. The major updates are really fun, I got on right before the Long Winter one, and they even listen to the community for game patches (community suggestions are highlighted in patch notes). Solid game, solid devs, and high replayability. If you want to pick up a roguelike, try this.

This review's been a long time coming, since I got the game a few years back from a friend.

Initially, this was my second foray into the Fallout series, my first being Fallout 3, which I loved, but felt that it lacked something reminiscent of an actual RPG, so I asked my friend to get me F:NV.

190~ hours later, F:NV has become my favorite Fallout game, The faction system, the characters, the branching questlines, all of the parts where it deviates from Fallout 3 just make it a superior game, you can actually feel your choices morph the world of the Mojave as you explore it, unlike FO3 where it just rams you into helping the Brotherhood, giving you no room to actually make your own character. F:NV is a welcome change, and is an experience any fan of the Fallout series should go through.

That being said, even when not compared to FO3, F:NV shines in its own ways, being an in-depth game that has infinite replayability thanks to the immersive, ever-changing Mojave, and the extensive mod support from the community. A solid reccommendation for anyone unfamiliar with the series and is in want of introduction to the Fallout universe.

9/10, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashes

As a prelude, I am only 175~ seconds into the game at the moment of typing, and I have yet to personally encounter the more advanced monsters in the game.

Devil Daggers is a well-conceptualized game, an FPS free of the comparatively easy difficulty of the new generation games, an FPS that brings you back to the time when bullet hell was indeed, hell with bullets (daggers in this case).

As for gameplay itself, it's very solid. Shoot daggers in a stream, or fire it like a shotgun, use your shots to fly across the map, dodging skulls while doing so. It's the kind of game that's easy to get into, but extremely difficult to master, as the enemies will slowly up the game's ante, from stealing your gems to giving you tons of them at a time. You'll need strategy for this, although not that many strategies come to mind when you're surrounded by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of flying skulls and upside-down squids. But don't worry if you can't get past an enemy, you can simply watch a playthrough of someone with a higher score than you on the leaderboard for guidance, which I find a very nifty feature.

All in all, this game is a 10/10 for me, and if you're a fan of FPSs, it should be for you as well.
