super wholesome experience! the customers are very lively and their reactions are truly heartwarming.
all jokes aside, the art, design, and animations are really well-done! it's an enjoyable experience seasoned with a pinch of dark humour and a drizzle of totally-legal special sauce.

This game is honestly incredible. I don't need to tell you why. Just play it.
What's that? You want an honest review? No? Okay fine, here it is.

This is another classic game from Miwashiba; what does that mean? It's an amazing game, that's what. The art style is adorable, very well done. A followup with the characters would be how easy they are to love. There are so many of them while also every single one having the same amount (minus Meru my beautiful sleeping bb) of friendship cutscenes; personally I love this since it doesn't leave any character out of the loop, none of the side-characters really feel like side-characters. The mechanics of the game are also extremely unique, replacing the normal stab your enemy system with having conversations. Scary, I know. These conversations are a bit special though, you collect information and use it against the people, calling them out for lies or using facts you got from another conversation to further another.

The storyline? Love it. It's unique and different while also being led by amazing protagonists we adore- Nanase being his naive, optimistic (kinda stupid) self, and Misane being her smart, logical yet cute self.
Lastly, the soundtrack. Oh my god the soundtrack. Look, Miwashiba games have always had great soundtracks but... this one is absolutely amazing. I listen to this soundtrack in my spare time, one of the songs even being in my personal Spotify playlist.
(Meru and Azusa are best girls, change my mind).
(Sora and Akuta are best bois, change my mind).
(Kuroku & Shiroro and best childre- okay you get the point).

You're still reading? Okay, fine, I'll actually write a proper review.

At first you might skip over the game 'cause it looks pretty old, the graphics could be ran on a potato with max fps; but everything else the game has to offer is done perfectly.
The character development and creation of the monsters you meet around you gives you a sort of immersion that I haven't been able to feel in any other game-- you form a sort of connection and love for them all, even the evil ones.
Where this game really shines though is your ability to pick the path you take. It's different from what other games give you, it makes you feel like you have absolute control over what you want to do, you never really end up saying to yourself, "God, why won't the game let me do this and this?".
Well, that's just what I think-- you should play the game yourself to see how amazing it is.
(Don't make me mention the amazing soundtrack, I'll go on forever)
(and the humour)
(and the emotion-- oh god here we go again).

Even though it's a prologue, I found myself highly immersed in the story and enjoying every minute of it. The graphics are stunning, and along with the down to Earth, funky music, it really set the vibe.
I absolutely can't wait for the full version, I have a feeling it's going to be great. Keep up the good work.
