Fun little stealth (or vicious and delicious murder) game with a heckin' adorable werefella protagonist.

Was able to 100% the game in 2 and a half hours, but you can't beat the price!
I'd gladly buy a sequel with more levels and stuff.

I did find it unbelievable that the company you work at seems very furry-coded, but there isn't at least one person that's thrilled to see a cute werewolf? :D

This is a well-made creation in the style of the recent 3D, free-roaming, spot-the-difference games, popularized (as far as I know) by Exit 8.

The visuals are pleasant with a lot of little details in the environments and you have no idea which of them might be relevant or just window dressing. I only noticed a few cosmetic, graphical bugs here and there.

That being said, there are two stylistic choices that I didn't entirely agree with:
The camera has a sort of "dirty" filter on it that I couldn't find a toggle for, and I found it irritating. I kept wanting to wipe my character's eyeballs clean. It did seem to have a logical, story-based reason to be there, but still.
There also appears to be some kind of light source emanating from your face that reflects on anything you're looking at, obscuring your view when you try to look closely at any object that's the slightest bit reflective.

There is a bit of a mystery to uncover as you play, the game rewarding you with tidbits of the story as you progress. Most anomalies seemed to be related to the story in some way, which I appreciated.

I went into this game thinking I'd ace it. How hard could it be, right? I worked as a game tester for years, finding errors was my job. I did pretty well in "Normal", but "Nightmare" skill level has so far bested me.

I'd recommend the game if you enjoy this genre, if you can handle horror vibes and the occasional startling occurrence. It's a solid addition to the format.

I was expecting more garbage sorting, but it's worth a buck.

Pretty amusing parody of The Witness. The humor is niche, but if you enjoyed The Witness a lot, like completionist-level of a lot, you'll get it.

I laughed out loud several times while playing, and that's a success in my book!

After completing the story mode (to a very disappointing end) I really can't recommend this game unless you're truly passionate about metal detecting for garbage.

I was interested in the game at the beginning, and hunting through the first few locations was enjoyable in a meditative way. It didn't take much brainpower to narrow down the beeping to the exact location to find the buried, worthless doodad in the area.

I had assumed that as the game progressed I would be finding more and more exciting items, until near the end I'd be discovering valuable and ancient objects on a regular basis, so that I would always be enticed to hunt for one more item, one more hidden treasure, and I'd be drawn to 100% the game. For the most part, this was not the case.

Don't get me wrong, there's a little bit of that. You do find the occasional trinket, the rare piece of ancient armor or weapon, but by and large these items are barely of a higher value than the literal trash that you're finding the other 97% of the time, or they're a quest item and "priceless." There's very little impact or excitement even if you do uncover a gold coin, because it'll have around the same value as the broken shovel head you found a few seconds earlier.

I think this whole experience would greatly benefit from being a minigame as part of a different game, to make the finds more rewarding. Something to spend your money on besides just a better metal detector.
Otherwise the motivation is so lackluster that you may find yourself just rushing to finish the quests just to see the next area.

On the subject of the quests, they'll generally keep you moving through the stages. However there is no conclusion, you just run out of quests and that's it. The meager story does not appear to wrap up. No ending "You did it!" dialogue as if the game had forgotten why you were doing all this. There aren't even any completionist achievements to spur you to clear all the areas.

In conclusion:
If you just really want to walk through some pretty locations and clean up all the pull tabs, bottle caps, buttons, needles and old, busted tools littering the landscape for no reason other than to make the world a better place, then this game is for you.

Early Access Review
Really the most engaging idle game that I've played to date, and I've played a lot of them.

One of the core mechanics of this game is the ability (and expectation) to create multiple characters that each have individual talent/skill builds. Every one provides their own strength to your team so you can gather mob drops, complete quests, run dungeons (solo or with other players) and upgrade many bonuses offered to you, to name only a few things to do.

Most days when I log on, I'll think 'Oh I'll just quickly gather loot on each character that's built up while idling overnight and move on to another game,' but then I find myself playing for hours, deciding I want to upgrade some weapons or armor, craft some stuff, do a few more quests, try for an achievement or two (which all unlock some bonus), progress further into new zones, etc.. etc..
And that's a good thing. It takes a while to run out of things to do each day once you hit the meat of the game.

As mentioned in some other reviews, there are some things that are unfinished or don't work quite like a person might expect, but they are few enough that it didn't hinder my enjoyment. The dev is active (you can even run into him in-game), updates come out often, and when this game is "complete", I suspect those incomplete bits will have been ironed out.

I'd highly recommend giving this a try for a while if you like idle games.

Very tough, but quite enjoyable classic-style platformer.
Gameplay is mostly a matter of memorizing every inch of each level to avoid all the enemies, but once you get it down.. it's rewarding.

This little game was quite amusing and enjoyable. I'll definitely be playing through it again once the achivements are actually functioning.
This is much more in the style of what I was looking forward to from the makers of The Stanley Parable, rather than that other game that came out, and Dr. Langeskov etc. is free!

I'm excited to see what Crows Crows Crows comes up with for a full-length game!
