I may not be a pro at fighting games, but I am 100% sure that this one is VERY NEWBIE FRIENDLY. If you want to try a fighting game, this game is a good choice for you. As a bonus they also have RPG mode, its like buying 2 different game with 1 price.

Fun fact: 8 (10 if you include SR characters) out of 13 characters (Gran, Djeeta, and Beelzebub is not counted) on GBVS have a 5th uncap in the original game.

If you like to play a turn based RPG with a good story line, you really should pick this game up.
Please, don't hesitate to play just because the graphic of this game isn't as great as today typical game.
You will really enjoy this game if you pay attention to what the NPC's are talking about, because what the NPC say gets changed everytime you hit a new phase, chapter, part, whatever it is you call it.
They also put a lot of jokes inside this game which made me grin quite a lot and I assure you that you won't get bored by reading all the dialogue.

Just imagine you are playing Harvest Moon: Back to Nature without the need to take care of your farm, but you still have the need to talk to everybody in town
If this one is not enough for you, Steam just brought us the Second Chapter of this game, and I hope XSEED will localize the third and bring it to steam too.

If you wanted to try something different than FF and is a bit more challenging, you should try this game.
You shouldn't doubt the story since it has been adapted to an anime.
The anime adapted from this game have 26 episodes (If its boring they won't adapt it at all) and there are also some manga adaptation from this game too, it even have two, yes two sequels (playable on psp) which I hope that they would bring it to Steam too.

If you like to shoot fully armored people right in front of their face while taking more damage than you deal to them, and take down a tank with only a rifle (which is possible when you're playing as she who have the biggest oppai in the game xD), you should try this game.

As a level 8 Swordsman I hunted Isis, err I mean Snake Wizard until I was 15.
After that I farmed at Prontera Maze, err I mean Arcane Realm until I was 17.
When I was 18 I hunted Petite Earth and Wolf, err I mean Green Dragon and Timberwolf.
Then I defeated Lady Tanee, err I mean Fairy Queen when I was 20.
4% per monster is a lot of experience points, if you know what I mean xD

btw what level do I need to have before changing my job to a Crusader? Just Kidding :P

I never know that being a merchant instead of being an adventurer is quite fun.
There are a lot of games where we play as an adventurer, but in this one, we play as the merchant that helps the adventurers with their equipments.
If there is no such thing as hunger in this world, maybe I would keep on playing this game through the night.
It is quite fun to haggle as you buy and sale, and I do get irritated when my customers ask me for a weapon and he still won't buy it when i gave him the base price, if you don't have any money then don't ask dammit.

Capitalism! Ho!

This game is more like, just 5 more hours rather than just 5 more minutes award.
