English-Version:

As a former Alwa speedrunner and a big fan of Elden Pixels, I won't pass up the opportunity to write a review.

In my opinion, "A Void Hope" is an absolute gem.
The graphic style is outstanding.
I have played many pixel games and have rarely experienced such a detailed and atmospheric realization.
There are certainly one or two places that seem a little "dull", but generally speaking, absolutely fantastic.

As for the gameplay itself, there's not really much to complain about in my opinion.
The movement is solid. Only the "crosshair" could move be a bit faster.

In terms of sound, I'm completely hooked. Both the soundtracks and the ambience itself.
For me, there is nothing that could be done better here.

I don't want to give too much away about the game itself.
Everyone should have fun with the game.

Another positive aspect is the quality of the release.
Even in the demo, it made a very well-rounded impression.
If you consider the size of the development studio, you'll be impressed by how well polished the game is.
Rarely seen a game that is as polished as you would expect from a final release.
In the age of early access games where you can only play half-baked alpha's, A Voide Hope is a prime example of how a finished game should be released.

The only negative point for me is the rather short story.
For me, the game could have gone a little further.
Nevertheless, the game really captivated me and I haven't regretted a second of it.

Many thanks to Elden Pixels for the opportunity to test the game in advance.

Hey guys, first ever review here.
I was able to finish the game 100% in normal mode yet.

All started with the first game (Alwas Awekening) i played and started to speedrun.
It came out they are doing a sequel. When the Kickstarter-Campaign startet i never thought about not baking there because i loved Alwas Awekening and was pretty hyped from what infos they gave before.

As a Beta-Baker i was able to play some versions before release. Started with the Demo, got access to the Beta and finally was choosen to QA run the game before release.
First of all i have to say that Elden Pixels did a fantastic job. It was nice to see all the tweeks and changes which was done in the versions i was able to play.
A special thanks at this point goes out to Mikael Forsling. He is so close to the players and take so much time to answer questions or even helped if needed.

Lets talk about the game.
It took me about 5,5h to defeat the final boss. For someone who never played it before it propably will take some more time to find all the things need. But this 5,5h were such an amazing time i had and also a challenging time as well. Even if the game looks easy it is fairly hard.
After some more 10,5h i was able to collect the last orb and defeated the last boss again and unlocked the new game+.
This game have so many sweet easter eggs.

The controls, the movement and also the sound are just awesome. There are so many ways to play the game and it was so catchy for me the find everything in the game because i know they are good in hiding things :)

The OST is brilliant. It fits super nicely to the area you right in.

All about you can feel the love which was put into the game.
I really like how the game turned out at the end.

At the end i want to say thank you to Elden Pixels to release a well polished game and all the hard work they put into it.
