Seriously, it holds true in every sense. Its a straight masterpiece created by Valve in every aspect you can think of.....be it the gameplay, the characters, the voice acting, the dialogues, the sound, the music, the atmosphere etc......and the most important THE STORY!

Portal 1 was great....amazing....a unique experience. It definitely changed how puzzle games were made or may be it started the proper 'Puzzle' game category. But apart from puzzles, it had engaging story with great characters and it immediately became 'One of the best games ever made'. Valve's Portal 2 exceeds in everything from Portal 1. It improves on every part. Where usually you dont see sequels surpassing the first ones, this one is exceptional.

On the technical part, both Portal games are fantastic too! I have played it so many times (this is my third time completing the story mode for Portal 2) and i've never faced a single glitch, bug, error or crash of any kind. Hail Valve and Source engine. This game even in 2017, is still an eye candy for me....still looks stunning and beautiful. And the best part....it runs on any potato (no pun intented).

I got this game in Portal bundle in recent Steam Summer Sale 2017 on the very first day first sight for just $1.068 and on that day i had exactly $1.18 in steam wallet. I made no delay and checked out. The best deal ever for best games ever!! Also....i always wanted to buy these games.

For the recommendation, its a no-brainer...just buy it. You will never regret it. If you ever want to spend your hard earned money on a game and have only one chance....buy this game. You wont forget the experience! And since both Portal games go on sale every now and then for around $1-2 or $3-4, you wont feel to break your bank. If you plan to get both games (which you should do!), play the Portal 1 first as Portal 2 is a sequel and story continues from there.


There probably wont be any Portal 3 and there shouldnt be either. The bar is set tooo high, the expectations are tooo high.....Valve cant surpass that with 3. Also, it has ended at a very high note in the franchise and when you reach that level, you dont want to go even further otherwise you fall straight onto your face.

This game has the most special place in my heart...I will give all my love to this game until I die and this will be my favorite game of all time....right there at #1 spot ....forever
