This is pretty good, a bit more forgiving than darksouls
but a decent laugh with some fun ideas

if your going to play, remember to interact with every door
at first, its easy to think the 2D doors are for the sake of design
but this game plays with its artstyle all the time, everything is a 2D and 3D mix
many of the flat drawn doors can just be opened, and there is often items
I will definitely be doing some NG+ work when I get the DLC

I dug up graves, killed randoms, had sex, went fishing and eventually became OP by controlling time
The only thing I wish for is a Fable 2 & 3 Anniversary to prepare for the release of the new Fable

there is too much to praise about these games
they are a great experience with truly impressive depth
as well as some pretty good mods tbh

if you're planning to play, two things to note:
the choices you make are ridiculously important
choices in the first game will be in affect at the end of the third game
and when the games give you a choice - believe the outcomes are real

secondly, kindness or cruelty to others can affect possible choices later on
in the first game its just a charm/intimidate stat; but in the other two games
do not pick middle options - always choose max good or bad
you have to unlock the most effective options by reliably picking a side

while choices are suppose to be a dynamic scale in the last two games
your charm/intimidate stat (from game one) is actually imported and added to the second game
if you pick a high intimidate stat: once in the second game, you'll need to pick cruel options
otherwise you tank reliability, and with that, your extra options fade away
you cannot have both in the second game, so pick a single side to max in the first game

Even better than the first game
took what the first game did and polished it

I also kind of love the sneaking
even if people see you doin' things
they cant alert others if they are dead

Lovely and unique puzzle game
with a great aesthetic as well as surprisingly relaxing music
the later sections in the rain are such an amazing vibe

this was honestly pretty great - alot of fun for me
even thoe, it is objectively a mixed bag
there will be a couple things you find dumb in this game
but I think it's got charm and gets alot of things right

Flying is great and truly appreciated, but it could have easily been better in my opinion
at minimum, I'd love to look up and down while flying
and for the love of god, you should get the unlock spell sooner

I love how taking animals is called rescuing
that word feels like propaganda - cause you stuff them in a bag
and then if you feed/pat them, they offer you body parts
it's amazing to think about the things you do

I kind of like how they didn't give real AoE spells
not having major area spells forces you to actually do combat
it's a solid demonstration to me that magic games could do better combat
but its not entirely there either - could do with a wider variety of magic
and you really need to be able to switch between spell groups better

I was sneaking in a bandit camp
then heard a bandit say "I hope I don't get in a fight today"
only to then ruthlessly burn him and his friends alive
I flew past another and heard them say "I want to make the world good"
after all your animal kidnappings, it dawns on you that maybe they're not all bad
and you begin to wonder if you are the real evil one for killing them all
it's rare to hear, but honestly the best 10/10 I need more

Highly underrated game
Not easy, Not dark souls and No quest markers
the skill tree is not bad, I enjoy the freedom to be a generalist

the no quest marker thing sounds dumb if you haven't had it before
but the map is constructed in a way that guides you through important quests
and most exploration will result in finding parts to other quests

mind read everyone important or suspicious
if your not confident or play aggressive af, spec into the ghost summon
he deals damage to enemies + heals you
and enjoy your dragon form, its not bad

straight forward - kill the train spider, the trainder, the spidrain, the arachnalocomotive
unfortunately, it runs away when it realizes your a threat

go on a journey to figure out how to prevent that
upgrade your train + machine gun maybe paint em pink too
the cost for death is pretty low, so don't sweat it

there is some low level incentives to leave the train and walk in the forest alone
it would be nice if the game was longer with more mission variety
but honestly, for less than 10$ I'm pretty happy with the experience,
a second game that's got a bit more to it, would be damn amazing
and if you've seen the end - you know they've set themselves up for it

Interesting change of pace to the other games
this one takes its time and has less fighting then the others
its more of a platforming game with a companion

when there is fights, they are pretty good thoe
with some practice you can do some impressive combos
